West Bridgewater Country Club

This course was fairly boring and unforgiving. Greens were quick but pitted and the bunkers were raked and soft. Course layout is tight and confusing. Lots of errant balls hit our way and anything left or right of the rough is gone and never seen again. Shot my best round of the season here and it was a pretty good value. Play smart and you’ll be rewarded( only a handful of holes allow for a driver off the tee. Likely won’t return as the course was a bit of a drive and was mediocre at best.

this is a challenging course that by the time 18 holes are completed every club in the bag has been used .it is well maintained and we had a decent pace of play- we expect a round to take close to 4 hours and it did ; We shall return soon

Tee off was at 950am in a very hot Sunday morning. Pace of play was okay, but not great... ended up taking over 4 hours to complete the round. Course was in pretty good condition.

Staff is awesome from the club house to the starter. Course is in great shape greens are fast and true. Pace for a nice Saturday in the summer was good - just an all around great place

First of all go make friends with Lyman and Joanne: they've been the heart of this course for years and are just plainly good people. Then please appreciate that course conditions was in a bad state of condition for a number of years up until just a couple years back: there were some awful cases of "blight" in the fairways where large patches of grass died and turned the surface hard and crusty...must've been some disease. It was clear years ago that they needed an actual agronomist/GSCAA superintendent and not just tons of water to combat the problems. After this last visit I can tell you the place looks much better.

Having said all that, both Skip Wogan And Phil Wogan are fantastic architects and this course shows the Wogan style, with green complexes looking much like they do at another Wogan course, Pembroke Country Club. Great layout, you'll use all your clubs.

Having not played here since grand open, I brought a couple friends for nostalgia. Pace of play was alright. Little slow at times, but it was a mid afternoon on a Sunday. Course was in great shape, difficult track. Would definitely play again, if I can convince my foursome to come with me.

Loved the layout. The fairways and greens in excellent condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. A great experience.

I just played this past Sunday after my buddy recommended it, I was apprehensive because of the poor reviews. It is nowhere near a 2 star course, it was a little wet and the pace could’ve been better but there are a lot of fun holes on the course. I would say give it a try.
