About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Great course and some holes are very demanding
Great course condition. Ken ? the ranger was extremely helpful and quite a gentleman. Condition was great even for hot July. Too many forced carry shots and that could be troublesome for some

A Course Worth Joining
If I was going to join a course and not use a GolfNow, this is the course I would join. It checks all the boxes, from the beautiful clubhouse with a great locker room, the terrific practice area for both long and short game, the finely manicured course, to the great 19TH hole and patio.

Fast morning round!
The course was in very good shape. Some bunkers had water in them from rainfall the last few days. The greens rolled fast and the staff was extremely nice. We finished our round under four hours. Challenging course but fair if you don’t spray it all over the place. Definitely will be back!

Fun course
Course was cart path only due to significant rain the day before but course was in excellent condition. Challenging but fair. Had a great time. Will be back !!!&

Good round start to finish

Played very nice today
Hot day but the pace was great! Nobody in front and nobody behind! Need to add IPA beers
Very solid
Big greens that are fast and roll true. Difficult course because you have to carry some obstacles. You have to hit it long and straight here. Played with people that breathed golf so made the round better. The par 5s are fun because you can take solid attempts at being on in 2. Par 5s will make you think. The practice facilities are excellent. Complimentary balls at the range and a great short game chipping area...honestly where we all need to spend the most time. I'd go back for sure. Not my top course in the area...bulle rock and inniscrone are better...but it makes the top 5.

Excellent Course.
Course was in great shape. Complementary range balls before your round included in the price. Starter was friendly and rangers checked in every now and then to see how things were going. Beverage cart was a nice touch on a Wednesday morning. The course challenges you to think about your shot and place your ball in an area that will make your next shot easier. Greens were true and very few ball marks, if any. The GPS in the carts was helpful as well. It was cart path only to begin the round but by the 3rd hole a notification popped up on the screen that it was now 90 degrees. Pace of play was fast given it was a weekday morning but it’s obvious as to why it may be slow during busier times. Decent drive between holes but the directions to the next hole are clearly marked. Overall would recommend giving this course a shot. Friendly staff made the experience that much better.

Annoying Marshals
I’ll NEVER play this course again!!!! Four times the marshals annoyed us to “speed it up”! There was no one waiting for us to hit their next shot, didn’t understand what the hurry was all about! . After the first two holes there was no one waiting on us! . Totally wrecked my back nine, The course is very difficult, you really need yardages to determine go for it or lay up!! Plus they had four cart path only and the cart ropes were about 60 yards from the green!!! Lots of walking involved! The guys behind us were staff! Like I said they didn’t wait on us after the second hole!! Didn’t understand the problem!! Great course, I won’t be back!!!

Great Service during a rude encounter
I had a 1 pm tee time. there was an outing earlier in the day. We teed off right at 1 pm with 2 others and was asked to keep the pace of play. Pace of Play was slow but acceptable. We waited a couple of minutes at each tee box. Ranger was visible.
The gents behind us we not very patient. They hit up on us twice, apologized, but constantly showed up at our tee box every time we teed off. Finally on the 12th hole they hit 3 balls onto the short fairway while 2 of our three we still there.
I called the pro shop and the pro arrived just after words were exchanged on the 13th tee box. The pro addressed the issue. The group behind us left the course and we had no issues on the rest of our round.
Excellent service under the circumstances.
