Dunes at Sandridge Golf Club

This is a very challenging course as well as aesthetically pleasing . We played in a 20-30 mph wind so it was even more difficult. Most of the holes are fairly isolated so you aren’t dealing with stray shots from other holes. The group in front of us were extremely slow, but we still enjoyed the course even though it ate our lunch

The course was excellent. It's just that I wasn't. In retrospect I would make sure to warm-up rather than not allowing myself the time to be prepared for this track. It was super windy and the course was as slick as a pool table. All mistakes become magnified and recovery is never guaranteed. A little more preparation is needed to acclimate yourself to the conditions so that your execution is more decisive and committed. My round was not what I was hoping for but it was not the course.

One of the best course around. Will go back! It is always in excellent condition!

The course was a late winter look but nice. A lot of getting the ball off the deck and not much fluff after second cut. It was moderate yet, we had a very nice time there. Restroom inside was not working, had to use the golf service restroom. No place to change.

These courses are always in very good shape with a quick pace of play.

From cleanliness of the men's room to the condition of the course, they do it right.

Friendly and competent staff. Played in 4 hours. Not a dull hole on this track.

An outstanding public facility that would stand up to many private clubs.

Considering the amount of play this course gets 365 days a year, from dawn to sunset, it's in remarkable condition. Maybe not up to the standards of the better private clubs, but excellent for a busy county course. It's also more challenging that the course ratings would imply, as it doesn't take much of a miss to find either water or thick vegetation on either side of the fairway. It's appealing to the eye and the wildlife, especially the birds, add to the appeal (both courses are Audubon sanctuaries).

Course conditions were excellent and the layout challenging. Different tees for all levels. Pace was slow from hole 2 on...often 2 groups on the tee box. Luckily we played with a couple very nice locals which made the 5 hour round more tolerable. Staff was just OK...had a couple interactions where they were indifferent at best. We are just visiting the area, but would play again if we have the opportunity and we can get a hot deal.
