Dunes at Sandridge Golf Club

I have played this course hundreds of times over the years and I will say it is always in great shape. Unfortunately this Thanksgiving we were treated as though they didn't care if we came back again.

The day started off with our tee time being behind about 5 minutes which was no big deal. We knew it was going to be a slow round as we watched the foursomes in front of us have alot of trouble just on the first hole which is one of the easiest on the course. The pace was slow but not unbearable. The ranger came around twice on the front nine to ask how things were going and we told him slow. He let us know that it was a holiday and we were not behind on time so there was nothing he could do. On hole 12 the ranger came by and let us know that he told the foursome in front of us to pick up the pace which they did moderately. By the 15th hole the ranger was coming by to tell us that the clubhouse was having everyone start skipping holes so they could go home for Thanksgiving. The smart thing would be for a course to not book tee times on Thanksgiving if you don't want to be there on a holiday. At the time we were notified to start skipping holes we were on pace to be finished in 4 hrs 15 minutes which is very normal for this course. I have been here on Sundays and had to wait on every shot to a tune of a 5 hour round. We were unhappy to say the least. The kicker is that GolfNow basically told us we could have a promo code for Monday-Thursday golf which is basically giving us nothing as we work M-F unless there is a bank Holiday.

As always the course is in Good condition .. when I played today some areas were a little soft due to heavy rains but that is a Mother Nature issue.. .. the staff does a great job keeping this course in the condition it’s in

We. love this course. They keep it in great shape & the staff is excellent. There are some suggestions to improve the short fall of communication with first timers. The signage for each course & hole location could be improved. Also yardage markers on the course are lacking. If you’re in the fairway you have to locate the sprinkler heads to find the yardage. Otherwise the markers are on the cart path.

It was a good day. Had to wait many holes. We played with a nice guy, Tony, who was very patient while we both had an OFF day. But bad day at golf is always better than a bad day of work!

Beautiful course. Very Challenging. Fast greens. Ridiculously slow play. No cart girl, but maybe because it was a Thursday.

Even after an inch and a half of rain the night before the greens were lightning fast for my 9: 50 tee time!!!!!!

I was visiting from Orlando. With all the courses we have, only a few compare with the condition of the courses at Sandridge, and none for $35 on a wknd. Simply said... if you're anywhere near Vero, play here. You won't be disappointed.

Nice layout easy to figure out and in great shape Small amount of work to do on the greens to make it perfect will play again in a minute

A county coarse that would hold it’s own against many private courses.

We live couple miles from Sandridge but don't always play here -- especially in the winter season. Always seem slow waiting on every hole. Today was a a fabulous day. Did not wait much and once we passed the people on the 9th and went to the 10th, we never stopped! It was great!! Love playing this course and good people work there.

The only course that compares is the Dunes' sister course the Lakes. Both are in fantastic shape and fun to play.

Course was in excellent condition. Greens were somewhat fast and true. Drink cart came several times and there were coolers with water, might have been from event?

Great layout, will be back !!
