About
Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Water world is fun
I’m always challenged by this course. The pace of play is excellent. The staff is super friendly. Come on down to Vista Plantation and challenge yourself on club head control.

Shape!
Considering they have had a foot of rain in the last month, it’s no surprise being cart path only. Great greens and tee boxes. Only a couple of wet fairways.

Still a great place to play
The course is in great shape! Fast greens, lush fairways and manicured tee boxes. Because of downpours, 17 and 18 had mushy spots. The only two problem areas and no fault of the grounds staff!!! Will be a killer course come the dry season!

Saw alligators!
Always fun to see alligator on first hole. Reminder we live in Florida! It was hot and not too many playing at noon! Moved quickly and when we did catch up the beginning threesome they let us play through (thank you for great golf etiquette!). Great staff. Course in great condition

Bring extra balls!
I read the reviews before booking, and then the starter forewarned me as he gave me an overview of the course layout: With water coming into play on 17 holes, and tight greens that fall off toward the water, this executive course is a lot more challenging than it appears. Hit anything off line, or with more than a slight fade or draw, and the ball will be lost into the water or into the major roads that abut several of the holes. I lost more than I care to say, but I still had a great time playing a quick solo round (less than 2 hours), making Vista Plantation a great value. Kudos to the staff who were very welcoming, and to the grounds crew that obviously take pride in their course. I'd consider this a great place to practice your irons and short game.
