About
Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Neat little layout
Arthur Hills is always good.. Never knew this was one of his designs.. For the age and amount of play it was outstanding .. Will play a little more often. Great tune up course

Short Tight course with lots of water and sand so can be a challenge. Nicely kept and greens in great shape. Recommend

Gotta luv it
Second time around this track. Still lost a few golf balls. Not to be taken for granted but it has brought back the live of the game. Player friendly but yet, challenging. I drive 30 miles just to play there. How you enjoy it too.

Good second or third choice
Good short course, but staff is not very friendly. Ed one of the marshals likes to lecture you about 20’ alligators while you try to hit shots. Rather annoying.

Vista Plantation
This area has had little rain, greens not true and fairways dry. Has played before when was in better shape.
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review our course. We’d love to earn those additional 3 stars and invite you back out for another round! As you stated, all courses in our area are suffering from a drought. Our groundskeepers are working their hardest to keep the course wet and are watering twice a day, but our irrigation system can only do so much. Please give us another chance and we’ll prove to you that the course will be in the condition that you experienced on your previous visit. Give us a call at the Pro Shop before you come back out and speak to a member of our management team. Thank you again for the review!

Could Use A Ranger
We play here often and seldom if ever have a problem with the pace of play, however this round was sickening slow. Two groups ahead of ours was a foursome of three ladies and one guy who were holding up the twosome directly in front of us and at least two twosomes following our group. As I said they were extremely slow and not about to let anyone play through although the golf course ahead of them was wide open as far as we could see.

We do have rangers (or course controllers as we call them) during the week and it’s definitely helped with pace of play. But that being said, all courses in our area have experienced unprecedented growth this season so inevitably, the play is a bit slower. We know you frequent our course and hope it’ll be faster for your next round. If ever there’s a concern while you’re on the course, please just give our Pro Shop desk a call and they’ll quickly send someone to address it. Thank you again and see you soon!

Always a Challenge
Our couple play this course at least once a week and find it to be short but always challenging. For the amount of play this course gets in the season, the greens are in great shape as are most of the fairways however many of the tee boxes reflect the high amount of play and they could use some work although not a big deal.
