Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Etiquette !
I was a single. I caught three gals on the 2nd tee and the graciously ask me to play through. So I did on the fourth hole I caught up with a foursome of older guys who could care less if I had to wait. Pace of play became ridiculous! Finally, when I saw them going on to 10, I drove around them and went to 11. Never saw them again, thank God! On fourteen I caught a twosome, you guys, who asked me to go ahead and play through. I finished with a 73!
I found it interesting that the ladies and young gentlemen new common golf etiquette but the old guys didn’t ! Or possibly just didn’t give a crap.
None of this was the fault of the course, but there was no ranger or assistant to be seen.

Neat little layout
Arthur Hills is always good.. Never knew this was one of his designs.. For the age and amount of play it was outstanding .. Will play a little more often. Great tune up course

Gotta luv it
Second time around this track. Still lost a few golf balls. Not to be taken for granted but it has brought back the live of the game. Player friendly but yet, challenging. I drive 30 miles just to play there. How you enjoy it too.

Good second or third choice
Good short course, but staff is not very friendly. Ed one of the marshals likes to lecture you about 20’ alligators while you try to hit shots. Rather annoying.
