About
Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club is centrally located within 15 minutes of the Edmonton Area, St. Albert, Morinville, and Cardiff. It first opened as a nine-hole course in the 1950s. Since the second nine wasn't added until 1996, there is a distinct difference between the front and back nine that makes it feel like you're getting two golf courses in one. The front, the original nine, is a more traditional parkland layout while the back is a more open links nine. You'll face a different set of challenges on each. The smaller greens on the front are indicative of the time when it was built and the size will also test your shot placement skills. In contrast, Edmonton Garrison Memorial's back nine has large and undulating greens as well as more strategically placed mounding.

I have played this course numerous times this past year and always found it to be in good shape. The only complaints would be cart paths need attention.

Hidden treasure
Was by accident that we golfed this course this year. But I have now golfed it 4 times, I love the lay-out, staff at pro shop outstanding, we get a great deal on golfnow, but trust me, this hidden gem is worth plus more thier regular green fees. I don't waqnt to write a great review, as I love that it's not too busy during the day, but I will accept wait lines asthis course is definitely worth it

Standing water
Course is very flat, poor drainage means rain pools and stays for weeks. Also leading to millions of mosquitos.
Overall I like the course though.

Round would have been a lot more enjoyable if it didn’t take 5 and a half hours..... pace of play was brutal

Try to get a deal
Who wrote the description on this web site for this golf course? The original 9 holes was great, but no longer exists. You're into the hard fairways of the newer 9 holes right at the 2nd hole, and it carries on from there. Try to get some kind of a deal on fees for this course or you might not be all that happy. No need to include their driving range in your day, unless you like seeing dandelions the size of cabbages. Your enjoyment will depend strictly on what you had to pay for this. If the price is right, go ahead.....enjoy.

Who wrote the description of this golf course for this web site? I have played the original 9 hole course in my time and it does not even exist as it did, since they added another 9 holes, not even close. Try to get a deal on this course otherwise you may be disappointed.

Prepaid for a "HOT DEALS" tee time, no carts and no pull carts. If they are not letting carts on the course, let customers know before their round!!!
