About
Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club is centrally located within 15 minutes of the Edmonton Area, St. Albert, Morinville, and Cardiff. It first opened as a nine-hole course in the 1950s. Since the second nine wasn't added until 1996, there is a distinct difference between the front and back nine that makes it feel like you're getting two golf courses in one. The front, the original nine, is a more traditional parkland layout while the back is a more open links nine. You'll face a different set of challenges on each. The smaller greens on the front are indicative of the time when it was built and the size will also test your shot placement skills. In contrast, Edmonton Garrison Memorial's back nine has large and undulating greens as well as more strategically placed mounding.

Thank God golf season is here.
First round today and off course we loved it! The course is just waking up from hibernation for that reason still not in peak condition but absolutely never mind!! We just love the course an it will get better from day to day. Staff is exceptional friendly like every year. Keep going everyone. See you at the next round.

First timer
Course is newly open so is in rough shape but I know the course condition will improve soon. Some longer holes which helps challenge, longer par 3’s as well. I’ll try out the restaurant as it has good reviews. I’ll be back!!

First time at Garrison Golf Course
Course just opened so there are many things that have to be done. First time playing this course, very much an old style Alberta golf course. Has lots of mid length to longer par fours so your distance and accuracy is challenged. Will be back with.a friend or will golf on my own. Read good things about the restaurant at the GC.
We fully expect the conditions to be very nice this season and we hope to see you again soon!
Great course
Garrison is in full and great permanent greens. Great challenging course for people shooting 100+ will definitely play again if hot deals continues.

Golfing in Alberta
Golf course in good shape for this time of year. The staff was very friendly and the were able to get golfers out after a frost delay .

Fairways were good and well maintained. Greens very good . Pace of play was excellent front nine however slow on the back nine due to tournament. Overall it was a good day.

Pace of play slightly slow. No Marshall to be seen. Some greens just aerated which affected speeds. Overall though it was good value for the money.

Got rained out but the staff was nice to still let us golf with our carts

Took my wife out as she’s a beginner and had a lot of fun. Lots of dog legs and aged tree’s. Would definitely play again.
I only played 6 holes out of 18 due to the people on the course. Some have no etiquette at all!!
