About
Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club is centrally located within 15 minutes of the Edmonton Area, St. Albert, Morinville, and Cardiff. It first opened as a nine-hole course in the 1950s. Since the second nine wasn't added until 1996, there is a distinct difference between the front and back nine that makes it feel like you're getting two golf courses in one. The front, the original nine, is a more traditional parkland layout while the back is a more open links nine. You'll face a different set of challenges on each. The smaller greens on the front are indicative of the time when it was built and the size will also test your shot placement skills. In contrast, Edmonton Garrison Memorial's back nine has large and undulating greens as well as more strategically placed mounding.

Nice course..
Course is I great shape and the value is well worth the rates. Play it often and considering joining membership to get more rounds in after work.
Good course
The course is in excellent shape for the most part other then some hard spots with sparse growth on a few fairways , all the greens are in good shape and I would rate them at medium speed , friendly staff at desk. Thanks
Fun course
Golfed this course with a buddy. Got paired up with two ladies from the golf course. Had a great time, was a fun round of golf. Will be back again. Course is in great shape.

I like the layout, greens were in good condition. The fairways were good in most areas, the rough was to long close to the greens on some holes, good course overall.
Good golf experience
I have become a great fan of this course.
Overall condition of course including fairways and greens have been improved over the last 2 or so years.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Power carts have a military camoflauge motif. Appropriate and a nice touch.
Each hole improved with monuments and histories of theatres of operation of Canadian military. Interesting reading and reminder of the great service performed by Canada's military.
Some military relics such as a tank vintage Korean war and artillary gun adorn the 15th fairway.
The clubhouse is frequented by members of the military which adds a positive vibe to the golfing experience.
Nice course
This was the second time that I have played here, it was in good shape but greens were a little slow. Not an overly long course but very enjoyable.
Good value with a good challenge here & there!
Good value and a oretty decent track. They have made great strides in conditioning in recent years and I like their greens, for the most part. Only negative, there never seems to be anyone at the proshop/service counter. I have played 4 times this year & I always have to wait. Not long of a wait most times but still dosent represent the golf club very well.
golf review
My cousin and I golf at least twice a week. Now that we are semi retired we can only afford to golf once per week. Great course some interesting greens. Probably will go back there again. The club house though the service could have been better, food was great.

They really upgraded this course, much better shape and more user friendly.

Long grass and lots of bugs.
I lost several balls due the grass being so long just off the fairway. This probably didn't help the mosquito problem either. It's an ok course.
Pretty nice!
Some very narrow and double dog leg fairways that are not clearly defined on the course material. Luckily my SxS app showed where they veered.
Other than that issue the course is very good value for the money when booking through Golfnow.com.
Good value
Course is in decent shape a few oddball holes but still enjoyable. Fairways and greens were in decent shape for the time of year
This course would earn a 5 star from me with a couple of improvements... the 1st cut of rough off of the fairways were a bit long on my last visit... a couple of the greens were in rough shape... I am sure that will improve over the summer however I must say most of them were in excellent shape.. I believe that hole 10 could use a revamp... the dog leg is to drastic and should be shaped more to the right to be fair to the average golfer.. Otherwise great value for the price and an interesting course overall
