About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Great Course
The greens were in amazing shape. The fairways were really good too. Pace of play was great but the course wasn’t too busy at the time we golfed. Seems to be a little easier of a course to get tee times at yet you don’t feel like your golfing at a lesser course like Spirit Creek or Balmoral. Only real downside is that it’s a little out of the way which is the very reason it’s not booked solid.
Loved It
Has been very hot and dry with little rain. That said the fairways and greens were in great shape, very green, with well maintained flower on some of the holes. .
Beautiful course, challenging greens, nice balance of water and rough.
Really enjoyed our round. Took friends for the first time and they want to go back - very impressed and they are members of a private club.

Greens were excellent. Some fairways could be more lush, we played winter rules and moved the ball to better grass
