Continental Country Club

Course is in a retirement community. There was no marshal on course. Older golfers were slowing down play but that happens sometimes. Other than that had a great time.

It's been at least 12 years since I last played this course. They have a new GS who has worked wonders with the greens! They have lost a lot of trees do to hurricanes and cut some others down making the old tight fairways very playable speeding up play. Some doglegs are very challenging. Enjoyed a four hour shotgun today at 8:30 AM. If your a regular golfer a four hour shotgun is pretty fast.

I played this course a few times over the pat six or seven years and had been disappointed with course conditions. today I found all aspects of the course to be in excellent condition and will be returning to play again very soon.

Course was okay. Greens need some work. Fairways could have more grass. But overall it was okay.

We had a threesome and a foursome. Everyone agreed the course was “nice”. Some narrow fairways, strategically placed oak trees and palms, and water all add significant challenges.

Tee boxes were in fair condition. Greens need some work. They may have been recently treated which explains the heavy amount of sand on them. Too many spots where weeds or thick grass has grown on the greens and causes putting issues. We just moved our balls to avoid being negatively influenced by these “on green hazards”! Also, we blame fellow golfers that refuse to fix their ball marks or drag their feet and scuff the green surfaces. Cannot blame the course management for that, BUT, it’s obvious that no one from the course maintenance crew is walking the greens at any time to fix them either.

Heavy water damage on some holes. Drainage not so good. Some fairways were too mushy to play from, so we all agreed to move our balls to playable ground. Also, fairways close to the greens are cut way too short and are deadpan. So hard to chip accurately off “. “concrete”.

All that said, and it sounds more critical than I intend, every one.of us said we’d come back and play the course again! I agree with my buddies. The overall experience was very good, and being average golfers, the course for our games just fine.

The 19th hole was just as satisfying! The bar was open but the kitchen was closed. Friendly service. Lots of TVs with lots of sports showing. We enjoyed sitting around for and hour or so and chatting while watching football and drinking beer.

Can’t wait to go again.

After golf we went to the restaurant for a bite and drink.

The menu was outrageous as were the prices. There was nothing simple like a hamburger or hot dog. Never again! I'll play the course but find somewhere afterward for refreshments.

Course was a little wet from our moonsoon rainfall we have had pretty playable like shotgun start will be back...recommend

Super friendly staff, carts are in great shape. Course is Iin great shape. You can tell the staff and members take pride in the place

This course is fun to play and scenic. Not too challenging which for the beginner is good. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Course a little beat up because of recent poor weather conditions.. still like the course overall.
