Continental Country Club

Beautiful day for October and the course was in decent shape. However there's still some issues due to a wet summer. 4,5 and 15 were cart path only and 8 was down due to tree trimming. The greens however were fast and firm which I liked. I expect to return again.

I've been playing this course for several years and a few years ago it had devolved into pretty sad shape. Bu the last couple of years the overgrown palmettos have been cleaned out, a number of trees have been removed, the irrigation system has been upgraded, the practice green has been redone (twice) and the overall condition of the course has drastically improved. Now the fairways are lush (but off the fairway can be a challenge), the greens are smooth and true and very receptive and the bunkers had all been recently groomed. For $13 on GolfNow this was a steal!!

I have been unable to get out to play since the last time I played this course on March 29. Typically I like to change courses, but this course was so friendly and fun last time I played it again. I really like this course and even though my drive over is nearly 1:30 it was well worth it. The staff is outstanding and the people I was paired up with were very nice and friendly as well - all in all I could not recommend this course more

Greens are in excellent shape. some area's to wet because of all the rain. Tee boxes need some care,

Good course. Good shape. Not very challenging. Overall good game. Course is in pretty good shape. Not the number 1 course but was with the price

played here 5x's....the course layout is way too long and disrupts the tempo of your game. I guess its great for the residents cause its a "social event" for them ?...the greens do not hold the ball !...you can hit a high flop shot and the ball will land an then run off the green..every time !...that to me is not fun or exciting...I noticed after my 4th outing that there is absolutely no evidence of ball divots on the greens ?....their hard as a floor....no give what so ever !...most greens are a 3 putt minimum...and that's from a 10/12ft radius...im sorry but I will not play there again....

I've played the course numerous times. A few years ago it was in incredible shape and it's declined since then as have most courses in the area. For the most part though it has been good to fair. Right now the fairways and tee boxes are a little rough but playable (even if you have to roll the ball over once or twice in the fairways). The greens have some bad spots here and there but I'd say 90% of the greens areas are in nice shape, rolling smooth with surprising speed! A few greens are in spectacular condition. If the price is good feel comfortable about heading out to play. Staff has always been friendly and the food is quite good.

Continental GC is a decent layout through an older community with fairways winding around lakes and housing. The fairways are fairly wide and unless you slice or hook very badly the homes aren't in any danger.

The conditions of the greens were excellent if a little on the slow side. The fairways however were very soggy after 3 solid weeks of rain. Seven of the eighteen holes were cart path only and made club selection fun. Got a lot of walking in for sure. Other than the wetness there are a few fairways that need a little TLC, but this course usually gets things in good shape, so I will be back another time or so.

Made booking at last minute when I couldn't get a tee time at The Villages, didn't know what to expect. They do a shotgun 8:30 am start. We never waited on any hole finished in 4 hours. Course was not in good shape but they were working on the course all over, for $21 and you get a hotdog and beer you can't beat the deal. Would go back sometime when it's in better shape.

Nice layout. Challenging for all levels of golfers! Fairways tree lined and challenging. Great value!! We will be back!!

Fairways need some work. Trees are being removed, but are temporarily debris on the course. Greens are in pretty good shape. Overall, the course continues to be upgraded.
