Maintenance Issues
The course has great potential. Lack of maintenance shows in the fairways. A lot of overgrown areas, especially on the back nine. Most of the greens are in decent, if not great shape.
Needs some TLC
Check in was a breeze. Course is overly infested with weeds. Course hasn’t been cut probably due to the rains but even if, wow the weeds. Greens are typical Bermuda that are super grainy but actually rolled decent. Bunkers are ok but not kept. Tee boxes are shot and fairways are somewhat ok in certain areas. Just looks like a lack of funding. Course has potential but the cow pasture it runs within is actually taking over the course sadly.
The course is very good
Overall the course is in good shape. The tee boxes need some work. Very good value for your money.
Excellent challenge
So this was my first time playing this course in 5 years and I was amazed at how nice it was! It’s a long course so it was great to get some long iron approach shots. The layout is great and the bunkering in the fairways and green side were exceptional!
Not bad
Its an ok place to play but it needs work the greens looked bad and the fairways are crap and the starter kept trying to put me in the group with other people I was a solo and wanted to play solo If I wanted to play with more people I would have invited my buddy’s
Great course
First time plating this course, but won’t be the last.
Great course for the price the 3stars for course condition was the greens were just airratted. Greens are usually quick and true
Lovely course and great value
The course is in good condition and clearly well looked after. Greens quite fast a the moment. Pace of play could have been good but we were hampered by a slow fourball, but hey, you get them on every course. Will certainly look up Cypresswood when next in the area
Long course
This course is extremely long which is actually a good thing as we all hit more mid and long irons. Instead of driver and wedge like a lot of courses, this one is a real challenge. Need a ranger though to speed up play as we were held up almost every hole because of slow play ahead of us.
Good condition, well worth the price
When courses are priced around the $20-30 a round mark...usually lower my expectations a little bit. Definitely exceed my expectations...the course was in great shape outside of 1 or 2 dead spots on a tee box.
