About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Tricky but fun
This was in excellent condition. Love the layout and the views are gorgeous. This was the first time we played it. Would love to have done it again as I now have a better idea where to place the ball. I also forgot my golf watch so not knowing the exact yardage made it tricky.
Always fun with challenging holes!

Challenging but fair
Always enjoy playing at N’kmp. A good variety of holes - from dog-legs to wide & narrow fairways, from wind aided to wind facing holes, from fast greens to even faster greens! Conditions the last few years have been very good.
Fun Course
Good Course Nice conditions.
Fun holes nothing to hard or easy. Very forgiving on most holes. Nice staff Nice facility. Really enjoyed my time here will be back ASAP
Golf Holiday Getaway
Have played N’Knip Golf Course before so knew what to expect.
Paid “Golfnow “ hot deal rate for $49.00 per person which is a great deal for this course.
Had I paid the regular rate of $98.00 plus fees I would have been disappointed.
Like other reviewers have commented, most greens are in poor condition and feel this should be reflected in the price one pays, or at least communicated to golfers when booking a tee time.
Hopefully the course can get the greens back in better condition to reflect the $98 course rate.
Highlight of our trip
It was a lot of fun playing this beautiful and well maintained course. Everything, other than my swing was great.

Tee Boxes, fairways and rough were in excellent condition. Most of the greens were in great condition as well, but there were a few that were still growing in from winter damage. The staff were friendly as well, all in all a great day on the course. Thank you!!
Bad greens.
Very little grain to speak of on the greens. Most have some sort of disease that has done damage! Hard to read your putts because of this. Easier to puttt on a table top , especially on short putts. Still a fun round of golf! Carey
Angry Keeper
We talked to the pro shop staff after the round and my god were these possibly the worst greens our entire group ever played, we played with a single who has played the course a few times and he mentioned multiple times as well the greens are possibly the worst he has ever played, half of them dead, didn’t roll true, cut sideways and mounded. We loved the challenge of a tough pin location but the punishment of doing it in dead spots after the clearly had recently aerated and charged a full rate made for an extremely disappointing experience. The rest of the course played great, we enjoyed everything up until the greens which completely ruined everyones experiences.
Staff was very friendly and mentioned that many members had complained about the greens,the poor conditions and workmanship of them. The guys in the shop were great and we appreciated them. Restaurant provided a good meal and drinks even though prices seemed a bit on the high side and the driving range was enjoyable and in good order. Don’t even try to putt on the practice greens either, if you can find any spot worth warming up it will just throw everything off for whats to come.
