About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

We were behind a party of about 5 groups doing a mini tournament. They were having a good time but unfortunately everybody behind them suffered. A Marshall on the course could have helped but there weren’t any around
Great experience but....
This is definitely my favorite course in the Southern Okanagan. Conditions are great and pace of play is fast. The only negative is if you happen to play on a men's league day, when for some reason they put in a bunch of goofy pin positions which really detracts from the experience for the green fee player. This was the second time this happened.
Hot and windy
A very good layout in excellent condition Challenging holes with good chances for birdies Also really difficult areas that must be avoided making tee shots very important

Great Course
This is my third time playing this course and I thought it was great all three times. The variety of the lay-out of the holes made for a good selection of clubs to use out of the bag. Playing with locals helped with fairways that were difficult to see due to the terrain. We did not eat at the restaurant. My wife came along for the ride. She is not able to play golf right now. Most courses allow the rider at no charge but this course was the only one on this golf vacation that charged for a full cart. Not a complaint but will be a factor the next time around.
Always great
Golfed with a couple guys we didn’t know it was their first time playing at Nk’mip was fun to show them the course. Course was in good shape and always fun.
Great Course
Except for the windy conditions the course was in great shape, greens were quick and well maintained!
This course is immaculate
I scored a great prices deal for this round. It was my first time out this year to Nk' Mip. The greenskeepers deserve accolades! Wow, the course was in fantastic shape.
It was a quiet cloudy day so almost had the place to ourselves.
