About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Great course but too many groups and no ranger keeping pace of play
We had a great time but pace of play was quite slow waiting on every shot as they were either.too many groups of the course or the ranger did not work Fridays so no one was told to pick up the pace.
Lovely course though and I would come back again. Staff were great in the proshop.
Best greens in the South Okanogan!
My review title says it all! Sometimes the greens crew don't get enough kudos. Great job!
Absolutely stunning experience
The course was in pristine condition the whole experience is a spiritual and my golf game is on fire the greens were extremely fast but I did conquer them the last six holes thanks for the experience
Excellent course condition
Excellent course conditioning. Staff could be more friendly. Our home course has stringent Covid standards for on the course play This course doesn't have the same standards, but still acceptable.

Love the first 12 holes. Back 6 holes feel like you changed courses. Different style holes, from desert style to traditional city course style.
Annual favourite
Terrific staff and manicured golf course. Clubhouse restaurant could do with some freshening up as well as the patio deck.
Beautiful but Slow
Course is in excellent condition but 1.5 hours to play 4 holes!. Group in front taking pictures and video of the deer walking across the fairway. Beverage Cart person waived us through them after the par 5 - 5th hole as there were 2 holes completely open in front of them. Great for us after that but no such much for all of the groups behind. Apparently the beverage cart person is the player asst as never saw one come out to monitor pace of play.
