About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Great views
Have enjoyed this course several times this year. Views are great from all tee boxes. Course has been in great shape since I first played it on May
Disappointing Service
From a course perspective the course is fine and enjoyable to play. From a customer service perspective I would say its less than acceptable. From my experience in most industries you allays take care of your customers, at Nk'Mip, its almost like they are doing you a favor by letting you play on their course. This is an unacceptable attitude that leads to satisfaction issues. At the end of the day being professional and courteous is the base of all client engagements and that's not the experience at Nk'Mip especially with a certain person at pro shop who present himself as the manager. I have been golfing here for 5 years with a group that has golfed here for much longer and because of our experience last week June 7th, my vote would to not golf here any longer there are many other beautiful courses in the Okanagan valley that value their customers,. If you value customer service, professionalism, and respect let your feet send a message and walk away from this establishment, it's not worth it, when there are so many other options in the Okanagan.

Nice Track
Fairly challenging. Accurate tee shots help the score card. Cart rentals $20 per person. A touch steep. Overall 4.5 star rating holds true.
The course is lovely to play. The greens well maintained. Well indicated from one hole to the other. Friendly staff. Very challenging for men not for women who hit sraight n the fairway. I won. Woman writing.
Great Spring Golf!
Course fairways had been vertically mowed recently and sand top dressing was being applied as we played through. Some very loud noise from the fans the greenskeepers were towing to blow away excess debris. All temporary issues as we went along. Otherwise, course is in its usual excellent shape for Spring!
Great service in Pro Shop . I broke my driver on front 9 and asked at pro shop about a demo driver to get me thru the round . They were very accommodating with giving me one and I was on way in about 3 min . Restrant has great food and great service .

There was lot of sand treatment being applied to fairways so effected the run of the ball that being said it shows there working hard at getting it into better shape . Will return

I really enjoyed this course. It was challenging but enjoyable. The scenery was breath taking.
For early on the season this course was in great condition..
GRÈAT EARLY SEASON CONDITIONS
A great early season round of golf. The greens were fast and the fairways in good condition.
Great course with the most friendly staff you will ever find. Very playable for all levels.
