About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Love the challenge!
Love the first 12 holes. Back 6 holes feel like you changed courses. Different style holes, from desert style to traditional city course style.
Annual favourite
Terrific staff and manicured golf course. Clubhouse restaurant could do with some freshening up as well as the patio deck.
Beautiful but Slow
Course is in excellent condition but 1.5 hours to play 4 holes!. Group in front taking pictures and video of the deer walking across the fairway. Beverage Cart person waived us through them after the par 5 - 5th hole as there were 2 holes completely open in front of them. Great for us after that but no such much for all of the groups behind. Apparently the beverage cart person is the player asst as never saw one come out to monitor pace of play.

Overall the golf course was very well kept the greens were a challenge and well kept the fairways also very green and well kept and the price was reasonable but forgot to ask if u had senior rates
Beautiful views
This course really is stunning, great views and layout of a golf course! A real worthwhile experience for any golfer! Really loved the greens and stimp is perfect for a public course! My high recommendation for this course is a must ! Thanks staff at Nkmip for their hard work! CR
