Poor upkeep
What can I say about this course. It could be so much more. Changing the course layout is fine but there is very little signage showing where the next hole is. And the signs that have been changed still have remnants of the old sign which at first glance still shows through, somewhat confusing. The second cut is thick and for a newer golfer which means either a lost ball or five wacks to get it out We were all disappointed. Two better than average golfers and two newer golfers. Greens were shaggy. Just an overall lousy experience. Sorry, but spend a few bucks and this course could be back to what it was a few years back
ridiculously slow
2nd time this year, 1 st time it was 6 1/2 hrs on the south coarse. This Sunday it was 6 hr on north course.
Good layout nice course
Fairways are lush but grass are too long which haven’t cut for few weeks. Ball No roll at all. And green are little slow too. I think they didn’t cut the green too . Hope they will cut down the fairways and greens next week . Good walking course.
Great day
Another great day and round at Golden Eagle. I do wish this place had a driving ranges. Considering the space they have, I have no idea why they dont. The north course takes driver out of your hands from the white tees. And 230 or so, I wan to be able to hit driver, especially on par 5s
Solid course to play for regular golfers
Greens ran great and the fairways were well kept. Tee boxes needed work which was unfortunate. Pace of play was brutal and not one marshal the entire round to let us know what was going on or speed others up. Would play it again however be ready for a 5+ hr round.
Excellent location, challenging layout
Love the drive up, great course, great location well cared for especially for public course.
Challenging, lots of geese around but thats alright
Pace is a bit slow but our party isn't that fast.
Fun and Challenge course
Green were very good but rough were very dry. Fairway a little dry too which was caused by No rain in a month. Some other courses had the same problem too so I was acceptable . First time played here I will play here again next week who will know how to play this North course.
Nice day out
Golden Eagle is a great 36 hole facility. We played the North course with two friendly members and we were treated nicely.
I played from the white tees and realized after the round that driver was taken out of my bag for the par 5s etc for the 9th. So next time I may play the blues on the 5s. But look forward to going out again
Marshall nowhere to be found... super slow stopped after 9 holes
