Large bunkering is an element that makes Willowbrook GC more difficult than most layouts. Here is a greenside trap at hole one (par-5, 501 yards). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The tee shot at the fifth, a fine par-3 of 124 yards, must carry a water hazard and a pair of bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The seventh green, like many holes at Willowbrook, sits upon a mound and is guarded by a single, large bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

Slow day @ Willowbrooke
Played after noon...there was some sort of "outing" in the AM...soooo...was busy...& S-L-O-W in the afternoon... The course was in nice shape...greens nice ....a ggod place to spend n afternoon....
3rd time
Overall the course is starting to green up. My only issue was the greens were slow. I don't believe they have been cut for a few days. Pace of play was a little slow. Starter has folks tee from #1 as soon as people ahead have hit 2nd shots. Better if the next group were held until front group had hit 3rd shots. This would reduce the jam that occurs at the first par 3. On the next hole there was a group on the green, one in the fairway, and 2 groups waiting at the tee.
Good value public course
Greens were slow but played true, Tee boxes were slightly uneven and over played but not terrible.
Wonderful
Literally my new favorite course and will continue to go here for a long time.
Great Deal
I really like this course. Staff is THE BEST! Pace of play can be slow at times but I feel that may be due to the popularity of the course. Great Job!
Slow pace
The course is in good condition, but they need a Marshal out to pick up the pace. A 5 hour day is way too long.. the tee times are 7 minutes a part which is a problem. Yes you get more golfers out, scare away golfers for a return with the slow pace.
Michael Scott
The course was in good shape. But no ranger to help move play. Two young boy in cart running all over the course. They would come backwards down the cart path then jump in ahead of you. Then they would skip and go to another random open hole. The didn’t appear to be old enough to be driving a cart. Overall the course was in good shape but a RANGER IS BADLY NEEDED
Very nice
For the money, great course. Pace a little slow but the best shape I have seen in a while.
Very Good Muni
I prefer public & Muni courses. In Florida this is a Big Bang for our dollars.
