Large bunkering is an element that makes Willowbrook GC more difficult than most layouts. Here is a greenside trap at hole one (par-5, 501 yards). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The tee shot at the fifth, a fine par-3 of 124 yards, must carry a water hazard and a pair of bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The seventh green, like many holes at Willowbrook, sits upon a mound and is guarded by a single, large bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

Golfer Reviews
Very pleasant
Greens were in great shape, tee boxes were fine and the fairways were also in good condition. A couple of the holes are a bit querky but overall great value for money.
Getting Better
Greens are rolling better but still some areas that were very wet.
Seen It Better
PLayed here before and it was pretty good but this time it was wet in areas and greens were extremely slow. They could use a good cut and roll them.
Interesting course layout
Fairways and greens grass was very long.
Lots off water and wet areas. Paths all in poor condition. Course not tidy not sure if this was left over from Hurricane Ian.
Staff not very friendly or welcoming.
No Frills Golf Course
Great value golf course always worth a visit, but key to set your expectations
Tees not in good condition fairways extremely soft but greens good
Willowbrook
Fairways, T boxes and Greens in great shape. Greenskeeper active with cleanup, weed treatment. Bathrooms still a mess.
Greens are good, but the course needs to dry out...
The greens are in great shape, especially compared to some other area courses where there was a lot of washout as a result of Hurricane Ian. It's been over a month now, and I suspect they are torn between a need to water to keep the fairways lush, and needing to let the ground dry out so balls don't plug when they land.
The later in the day you can play this, the better since when the fairways are damp with morning dew you don't get much roll out. Your going to have to hit greens on the fly, no running the ball on (sad because the course is lightly bunkered and most of the greens if it were dry would permit running the ball on). It would be nice to have options.
Pace of play is a bit slow with 4.5 hours, but not bad on a weekend.
Nice Course. Great Value
Tee boxes, fairways and greens in good condition. Pace of play was good. Great value. Played here before. Will be back!
Too much water!
I’ve played this course plenty of time and it’s always been a great time. The pace of play is always great for me. The course doesn’t have a good drain system so there is water puddles on almost every fairway, so even if you hit a great shot down the fairway, you might be screwed. Since there was a lot of water the driving range was closed. This course also has the worst cart path ever. It was cart path only for me, but with the giant puddles on the cart path I was praying I didn’t tip over because it was a bumpy ride and I couldn’t see the bumps! I still love this course though and would play again. Hopefully next time it’s dryer.
Rainy season
So much standing water on the course it was literally unplayable. We had to move our ball 6ft or more to get away from 6in deep puddles on the fair way. Greens were in amazing condition and the tee boxes were alright. Once the course dries up it will be okay.
Oh, by the way…
We played as a double with a 9:30 tee time. After paying for our round the pro shop attendant informed us it was CPO (fine) and that they had some standing water on some fairways (we exchange a glance). And he wasn’t kidding about the standing water. By the second tee, my feet were soaked to the socks and it was a joke from then on out. Drives had no roll if you were lucky and most just sank into the ground. We lost a few balls on the fairway due to conditions. Iron shots suffered from the muddy fairways too. Greens were nice and roll quick which was the only positive for the conditions today. Also to be mentioned, no drinking water on the course. Another reviewer mentioned this and it needs to be amended immediately. No cart service, no water fountains, no coolers, nothing. Pace was also poor, with a round of 18 lasting 5.5hrs. No ranger or any course attendant in sight all day. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…I won’t get fooled again.
not as good as what I had read
1st and foremost, at $20.00 - hot deal - no real complaint...but, w/o any warning and perhaps you need to play one to know ..No Water on the Course.. to drink ..fla golf course, in the summer !! w/o drinking water ?!? no way ! it would have been a nice track to walk, unfortunately I can't anymore...and with "cart path only" in effect..yikes, needs some major repairs ! all this on a municipal course , so a little lee-way is extended , if U get a hot deal...20 or Less ? take it...And Bring Water !
Excellent Golf Course
Although it was wet do to torrential rain, it was car path but it was manageable. The greens where fast. I love this Golf Course because of the degree of difficulty makes it interesting and a very reasonable price.
Property Site Work
Not sure who is paying or doing the work, but the east side perimeter of the golf course is being cleared. This removal of scrub trees and bush has created a whole new feel of openness to the course. Actually very positive about its effect other than construction vehicles being present. They were not working when I was there.
