Large bunkering is an element that makes Willowbrook GC more difficult than most layouts. Here is a greenside trap at hole one (par-5, 501 yards). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The tee shot at the fifth, a fine par-3 of 124 yards, must carry a water hazard and a pair of bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The seventh green, like many holes at Willowbrook, sits upon a mound and is guarded by a single, large bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

Golfer Reviews
Extremely Surprised
Visiting from Denver, booked this with my cousin and we were pleasantly surprised! For the price….didn’t expect the course conditions to be as good as they were, and I think we beat the snowbirds down, because it was not busy at all!. Great time and we will be back!
Great condions
Course was in great shape both fairways and greens. Challenging shots from tee and fairway.
Hidden Gem!
Conditions are good, staff is very friendly and PoP was good on a Sunday morning. You will pay a lot more for other courses that are not in the condition of this course.
Truly a hidden gem !
Golfing @ Willowbrook...
Good place to get out & play a round of golf...The whole place appears to have been recently over-seeded, so plan accordingly....Greens are decent... & the fairways & tee boxes are very playable...& a friendly staff !
Yikes
Played this course today, noon Tee time. Incredible weather outside (70 degrees, very clear) but the course was so muddy everywhere. We would hit drives straight center of the fairway and they would plug so bad in the mud that we would lose the ball. This was the case with at least 8/9 of the holes. Most likely will not return, unfortunately. The last time I played here, it was not much better…
Rider fee
I only had time for a quick 9 Holes today. My son, who does not golf was coming with me as a rider.
I fully expected to pay a rider fee and had no issue with it, until I learned how much it was
Cost to play 9 holes, riding was $14.00. Great value!
The added cost for my son to ride was $12.00
I thought he was kidding but he just kept repeating “our rider fee is $12.00”
So…if I walked instead of riding I would have only paid $2.00 for my round?
Great round
I had a great round of golf today at Willowbrook. The staff was friendly and the course was well maintained. The course has some age on it. But it's a great municipal course. That being said I read some pretty negative reviews before I went, if you are expecting a PGA golf course experience for 30 dollar neighborhood then your dreaming big. If you want a good laid back time and relax then this is a great place. I can see where the course could get a little soggy in some areas but other than that not a thing wrong with this course.
Great experience will be going again.
Aerated greens
Somewhat wet conditions, aerated greens made putting challenging. Overall good practice location
Willowbrook doing well in the wet weather
Some improvements being seen with on course bathroom cleanup, cart path grading to eliminate underwater prior state, greens and fairways are good, still 90/90 rule, but fairways weren't that wet. Overall a great place to practice, play and relax at a great price.
Cart path only
When it’s cart path only I should not be charged full price. I end up having to walk the whole course anyway
Great value
Tight fairways were troublesome with my slice on the drive, but overall a great layout and well maintained. Definitely a course I will play again and often.
Wet -cart path only
Rained the night before, wet, but not bad. Bathroom needs remodeling, word it everyone needs to complain to the city to get it fixed
UNPLAYABLE
Came in from out of town and booked tee. Time on phone , no mention that the course was under water, and wasn't told it was cart path only on 5 holes until paid , figured it was a little wet but those 5 holes were Unplayable and the rest of the course the fairways were garbage , grass clippings so thick you could not find balls all covered in grass ! The kid behind the counter said we were the fist to complain , I don't mind public course I play them a lot but 50 dollars to play this is a joke
Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad to hear you enjoy our course and wonderful staff. We look forward to having you back in the future.
