Large bunkering is an element that makes Willowbrook GC more difficult than most layouts. Here is a greenside trap at hole one (par-5, 501 yards). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The tee shot at the fifth, a fine par-3 of 124 yards, must carry a water hazard and a pair of bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

The seventh green, like many holes at Willowbrook, sits upon a mound and is guarded by a single, large bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 02/26/2025

Golfer Reviews
Can’t go wrong making a tee time , the course is challenging and some birdie holes out there
Real Nice Course
Tee Boxes were good. A little chewed up on a couple. The fairways were good. Rough not too rough. Greens were very firm. Only made one ball mark out of 18 holes. even though they were firm they did not roll fast. Cart paths need some work along with the clubhouse. Will return to this course.
The Course was in good shape and the price was excellent. My wife and I will play again soon.
Great Value
I was very surprised when I teed off at this course. Fairways were in good shape, greens were for the most part impeccable and the layout gives you a few nice challenges. I would definitely play there again.
Disappointed
Started out being a great day, Jesse the starter was fantastic! She gave us a run down on the course layout as it was our first time playing. It was down hill from there. The course layout was nice but someone forgot to turn off the water as every shot on every hole either plugged or needed to be cleaned off from the mud. Forget about bump and runs as anywhere from 20-30 ft short of the greens and it was so wet, balls went no where. Jesse prepared us for the greens, speed was consistent, and if you want to hold the greens you needed to be in the middle; 1st third, ball spins off and back third ball bounces long. Lastly, someone either sent out a twosome ahead of us on the back or they jumped in, either way it added 30 minutes to our round and that was disappointing. Unfortunately, the hour drive to pay $40 won’t happen again…
Good for a City Course
Course is wet in a few areas, even though there has been little rain. Play your shots to have little or no roll.
Return to a Friendly Course
We played at Willowbrook 2 years ago, but did not return last year due to limited travel restrictions caused by the Coronavirus. We could not wait to return to play this year. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Course was well groomed and greens were soft and receptive. We will definitely play one more time during our vacation. See you next year!
Greens are in great condition
Nice course that requires you to play "golf" with reasonably tight fairways on some holes and doglegs that tempt a long driver. Greens are in the best shape I have ever seen here.
Single players restricted
I have played this course many times before and booked through golf now.
Unfortunately it now stipulates booking in 2 or 4
I would like to play again but as a visitor from the UK and a single player I am prevented by the club /. Golf now policy
Old Style
Had a great day at Willowbrook. Real friendly staff in shop and bar/restaurant. Starter Jessie was great - very knowledgable and helpful for first time visitors. This is an old style course and love the layout - no houses along fairways and enough water to make it challenging but not on every hole!! A bit soft underfoot so plays its full length - greens receptive but putt smoothly if a little slower than some other courses. Highly recommend visiting this under-rated gem and will certainly be making a return visit when next in the area.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, will definitely return.
