About
MaraHills Golf Resort (formerly known as Hyde Mountain Golf Course) boasts a stunning setting thanks to its location within the hills above Mara Lake, with views that span the surrounding mountains and hardwood forests. Les Furber, a well known name in British Columbia golf, designed this challenging layout. You'll be using every club in your bag and you can't afford to take any of the tee shots lightly. The golf course is routed through dense groves of mature trees and across deep ravines that make for some intimidating tee shots. One hole that exemplifies the MaraHills Golf Resort experience is the par-4 fourth hole. At 483 yards, the yardage may seem strange but you'll understand why it has so much length once you're standing on the tee box, which is perched 200 feet above the fairway. The elevation offers an incredible view but be prepared for a difficult hole from tee to green.

What a beautiful course
This course has to be one of the most beautiful settings for a course . Hole #4 will take your breath away and presents a heck of a challenge as well. There are many challenges on this course and you will have a very enjoyable day.

Wow! A beautiful course.
Stumbled upon Hyde Mtn. during a road trip across Canada.
Absolutely stunning scenery along the shores of Mara Lake! Front nine was away from the lake with one of the par fours having a 200' elevation drop from the tee to the fairway. Back nine was beautiful as well.
Staff was incredibly friendly and the deck for lunch overlooking the lake couldn't have been nicer!

Love this course!
And .... We played for $30 each. It's a very challenging course (you need a guide the first couple times) but it's always in fantastic shape. The fairways were wet but they had torrential rain the night before

Challenging layout
This course can and does test you throughout your entire bag. Trees throughout this superb mountain course make things even more difficult. The layout is one of the best.

Great Views
Course is in good shape. A little over watered creating soggy fairways. Sandwiches at houseboat were $7 and were terrible, hotdogs were awesome.

Absolutely beautiful, challenging holes, well defended greens.
Check weather forecast before booking, can be very hot, it was over 40 degrees for my 18.
Nice track
Challenging course with some spectacular views. Lots of elevation changes and tough greens. Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would play this course again.

deadly from the blacks
An enjoyable course that is best when played more than once. Knowing the layout will help when placing shots. If you are not a long driver, play from the whites, much less frustrating.
Beautiful
Course is tough but very enjoyable. Some hidden fairways, will be even more enjoyable the second time. Awesome views and challenging elevations. Hole #4 is unique! Will definitely play again.
