The course is finally coming around after the annual spring flooding. Greens are in good condition.
ok for the money
Easy online booking, great staff, course still very wet in valley areas, need to play clean and place on some fairways. Good pace, good price,
Family golf day
It was a good day but there were 4 guys playing off the back tees that should been playing off the front tees. They made everyone behind they wait. Marshall did nothing about it. 5 1/2 hours to play a 4 hour course. As for the course it is a 7 out of 10. There are areas they need to work on, like the 7th hole where you need to drive around 3 other holes to get to your drive. I would plan it again. Max. Cost with cart would be $50 with taxes. No more than that
Annandale 19
Great bang for the buck. Good layout, Decent condition, 7’s temporary green still not playable but hey 25 w a cart.
you get what you pay for
I got the round for 30 dollars which is very cheap but I am glad I did not pay any more. Far too many people on the course. At stages, there were three different groups waiting on a tee box. Course is not kept well, driving down the fairways is extremely bumpy and uncomfortable. As I say, you would not pay decent money to play a round here
Value For Your Bucks!
Played this course for the first time with the GF. Overall the course is very simple and has a rural vibe. Good value for your dollar ($20 w/ Cart).
Good Value with Cart
First time playing this course. It’s pretty beat up but at $25 incl cart from GolfNow it’s a good deal. Some greens are really rough with one being really really bad. Tee boxes are average with some being less than and the fairways are long cut. You can lose your ball easily in the first cut of rough. But the layout is nice and some challenging holes mixed with easier ones. For $25 I’d play it again.
Average course for a great price!!!
Great Laid back local gem. Bring every club for this course as it will have vary elevations and dog legs. Lack of or no drainage at all means this course is pretty muddy after a rainfall for up to a few days. For the price, it cant be beat!!
Bad course, worse pace of play
Left after 4 holes took over an hour and a half to play. The place was a complete joke. Go elsewhere no matter the deal you get
Excellent price
The course layout had 2 hole crisscrossing. The tee box at 7 was not marked and we actually missed it.
The greens were excellent with slopes on many to challenge the putter. The fairways needed a trim as it was difficult to locate our balls.
Enjoyed the day, but likely would not return.
Family outing
Myself and a couple family members went golfing at Annandale, I have not golf here in years. It was a good course to play in the late 90's, So I figured I would book a tee of time here because I liked it than. The staff were great. The course is falling apart. It needs better signage. I believe the 4 or the 5th hole is very confusing because it is not marked and than there is another hole you have to drive around two other holes to get to. I would play it again only if it is cheap. I would not pay any more than $50.00 with cart. I do hope they try and get signage and the pathways fixed because this could be one of the best in Durham.
Worth the value?
You get a full size course at the expense of friendly service and course maintenance. There was enough neglect on this course to warrant a call to the fire department and have then water the course. One of the green was missing half the grass.
This place is definitely a value trap depending when you go.
