Annandale Golf and Country Club

Nice course lay out, you'll use every club in the bag. The grounds have poor drainage and no irrigation, so don't go when there's s drought or right after a heavy rain storm. The staff is friendly and the pace is generally a little slower. The green fees on Golf now make it attractive, I've never had any issues on booking.

Tee boxes and greens, and some fairways in awful shape. Affected my game definitely. No refreshment cart either during the 4 hours.

Challenging Course. The Greens were very dried out so the were extremely hard to hold the balls. Very Quick for putting. I would still return as it was late in the day and the weather was very hot so would expect the greens to be a little harder.

Booking experience was great through golfnow, patrons at course were also great. But the course is in seriously rough shape. Can barely find your balls on fairway fringes. You miss the fairway your likely to take a drop only because your ball will be lost in the deep grass. And that's if there is even grass, lots of dirt and mud, greens are slightly better then my weedy unmaintained backyard grass. I'm being sarcastic but they are in terrible shape as well.

Miserable day at Annandale. Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. 5 hours on a Monday afternoon..incredible.. even encountered a fivesome that thankfully allowed our threesome to play through by the 7th hole. Several holes were aerated with alternate flag placements away from the rwgilar greens. We decided it wasnt worth putting. One of our group gave up in frustration after the 8th hole. Rather than play the back nine he decoded to replay the front 9 starting at #3.

Annandale is notorious for slow play.and i knew this from past experience but this was an afternoon tee off in late October. All in all a very unsatisfying frustrating day.
