About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

Paid 47 dollars to play this course. Show up and half of the greens haven’t been cut in weeks and are as long as the fringe at the course I’m a member at. The other greens have huge tarps in the middle of them which you don’t know about until you get onto the green. Zero Marshall’s on the course telling anyone to hurry up.
Can’t believe I paid full price to pay a course in this shape and conditions. This was my second time playing this course and last year there was another issue where a few holes had been temporarily moved and you couldn’t put at all. Why charge full price for this???? Won’t be back again...
Bad Shape
Course is in really rough shape. Greens are in terrible shape, some even have tarps on portions of them. This course is not worth the $45-$55 they are charging.
Good staff, good layout, just let down given poor course conditions.
Course conditions
I haven’t played this course in over 5 years.
I was in bad condition.
Greens were like most golf courses fairways.
I will not go back.
Disappointed
Have played this course numerous times! Usually best course for its price. Terrible this time. Unusable greens on front 9! Tee blocks nothing but hard dirt on a few holes. Didn’t see one marshal on course! Waited 12 minutes at the turn to get two hotdogs. One staff was using washroom (understandably) another staff sat at a table on her phone. Staff from pro shop came out to see what was up! Back 9 had 3 groups waiting at tee blocks with no marshal keeping track of pace of play.
There were three greens in horrible shape due to the course cutting down trees around them for improvements. Other than that, it was great! Play was slower due to being a Sunday. Could have been a bit faster at one point there were three groups ready to tee off on the 10th. It was a 5 hour round.
Nice layout. pretty rough shape
I like the layout of the course. Potential to be good. The greens however on the front 9 are in aweful shape. It's been wet but overall I've seen much better conditions
Few bad greens
At least 3 holes where greens were terrible 10 by 10 feet section of raised dirt in middle of one green old course in way better shape
Lovely setting
Challenging holes but not so unsurmountable as to be daunting. Beautiful setting. Some broad fairways and narrow too. Dog legs and changes in elevation keep you guessing...in a good way. Excellent value.
Golf cancelled by course
I booked a foursome for this course about a week prior to our game. On my way to the course I got a call from a golf Now rep. telling me the course could not honour our tee time. Needless to say it was disappointing and frustrating. I had to stop the car and call the others to give them the bad news. I am not going to slag the course because I have played there before and enjoy the place. So I can not provide a proper review. The best thing was the GN rep was very professional and did all she could to help us find an alternate location but to no avail. As I said the course is good and this review should not stop anybody from giving it a try and I look forward to read others reviews.

at least warn guests of the rediculous conditions of greens tee boxes etc..... The front nine greens were horible. Back nine good. To many blind shots resulting in many lost balls .
Good drives ending up on fescue that you dont see. wont be comming back.
