About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

Great day
It was Mother’s day and we expected the course to be full and slow. It was the very opposite. There were 4 of us (couples). We let two guys go ahead of us and after hole 2 we never saw a person. It was the best 33$pp I ever spent and if we could of got the same rate we would have played another 18. The course is not difficult but a relaxing one. The greens were good and the course dry.
Great first round of the year
Course was in good shape considering the windstorm we had the previous day.
The greens were slow (uncut and unrolled) but the weather is to blame for that.

Nice Course
Course is in excellent condition. Walking VS cart has a tendency to slow down the pace. I'm a firm believer in carts only.
Nice rolling course
a bit wet because of weather this April. Friendly pro shop service . Good value.
2018 opening day
Course was in good shape after a hard winter. Only back 9 were open but quite enjoyable.
Knollwood Ancaster New Course
Great day in mid October for a round of golf. Rain stayed away until completion of round. Course in good condition for this time of year. There are some challenging holes. Hopefully weather stays good for at least another month of Golf. Course ratting an 8/10.
Comfortable course
This is not a long course by any means but that being said it has its challenges and yet be woman friendly. The pace of play was great this day but like any other course it can be slow on weekends. All the staff are always friendly and accommodating . Because of the rain the teeblocs were sloppy but the greens were great for this time of year. This was probably my wife and mine 10th round there this year.
Good test
Had a good round and great deal on golfnow. Last hot day of the year. Its a good test but lots of blind shots.
Challenging greens
The course was challenging overall. The greens were short and fast with lots of contours. A few holes had greens that were out of view until close, making for a good challenge. Would definitely recommend.

changes and sloped fiarways a great definatelly play again course , great views but bring extra balls its that challenging
Great golf course
Beautiful golf course. Challenging layout (which I like). Most of the fairways are very hard and the ball bounces a lot.

always a good day out, friendly and accommodating staff and a well kept golf course.
Where do I start...
the course was dry even after all the rain we've had this year, greens wouldn't hold they were rock hard. Played 9 holes in under a hour then got stuck behide a group that wouldn't let me play through and no Marshall in sight. It was getting dark so on my way back to the pro shop my cart died. Someone had to push me up a hill.(he wasn't a employee) There is so much more wrong with this place I won't be returning even if they offered me a free round.
