About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

Almost rained out
Course was in good shape, a couple of the greens were burned and some of the pin placements weren’t really playable
Nice course
Staff was very friendly and the greens were good and very undulating. On some holes the tee boxes were rough and some of the fairwasy needed work. Overall, a nice average course.
Course in good shape , greens very nice, a couple of greens in woods need some TLC,
Old course is in better shape
Great course layout and tricky par 4s. The course was in poor shape and sandy tee blocks. For the price I would think it would be better maintained. Great staff and food though!
Good features not worth the money
For years green fees were OK but bad conditions
now conditions are somewhat better but quite over priced.
Very nice course
This is the second time I played this course in the last 2 months. For how dry it has been the course is in beautiful condition. Mind you the fairways are a bit brown but the greens are green and soft. The club house staff are very friendly and the starter is excellent. Each time we played we were able to go right out with no delay. I will definitely go back. Book through golf now for $33 with a cart!!!
Hard to describe this golf course. Large greens that were slow. Hidden shots all over the course and no sand traps. Course wad in ok shape but slightly errant shots were easily lost in over growth close to fairways and greens. There are some interesting holes but overall I would rate this course at best a 3 star
greens need work
Overly undulating and mounded greens that did not hold the ball. The greens had many barren patches and the pin placements were on or near the barren patches.
The course also had many blind tee shots.
Course has potential, very poor shape
Rock hard everything, you’d think for $70 plus tax it’d be in a lot better shape
Slow round
We had great weather too bad the front nine was really slow with some slow players. Didn’t see any marshalls out to help out with the pace of play. Other than that the course was in good shape.
Fun course
Great time with my 13 year old. challenging enough for all levels.
best shape in years
They have done a great job, cleaning the place up and it was in wonderful shape, of course except for the one green on the front which has always had issues due to the lack of sun it can get on it at anytime. Good variety of holes, have to play it a few times as there are some holes where you really have to know where to hit to. All in all, had a great day!

Tee boxes were less than perfect. The course has one very awkward hole that may leave many a player shaking their heads. "Overall a great day for golf
Excellent condition
Course was in excellent condition! The greens were a bit firm, but very good for not much rain. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Not wait on the first tee! Will definitely play again. Booked through golf now for $33 with cart which is a very good deal.
36 degrees.. where was the refreshment cart?
We have golfed this course a few times and always enjoy the layout and condition of course... only compliant ... it would have been nice to see the refreshment cart more than once on the 18 holes especially when it was 36 degrees...oh and we had to exchange the cart after 9 holes because it kept losing power... first time that we ever had an issue with the cart..
Nicely kept course
Had a great time playing g here. Not the biggest course but we'll managed and excellent greens! Very friendly staff makes this course a fun day out for anyone!
