About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

Too many doglegs and blind tee and second shots. You definitely need to play this course a few times to get the lay of the land. Rough was too high and swallowed most balls hit into it. Greens and fairways were in good condition.
very scenic course
good variety of golf holes , but very fair for the average player . a peaceful and beautiful course .

lots of elevation changes and undulating greens
unfortunately by the 3rd hole we were stacked up with
three groups waiting on the next tee with no marshals
in sight it took 4.5hr to reach #15 the group in front of us quite at #15 as did we
will not return again

Golf Day
Rained the previous night so the coarse was a little damp but the greens weren't slow, they seemed to dry fast. All in all, the coarse was in great shape! It's been two years since I've played here because the regular green fees are a bit too much so when we can get a deal to play here, we're in! We'll be back for sure!
Very slow
Course was in decent shape, greens were terrible, dozens of ball marks on every green. Pace of play was horrendous, no marshal until 8:30 when he demanded everyone leave.
Very good course. Some nice holes and challenging greens.
The course layout is very good
This course would be 5 star easy if it had sand traps, I can't think of anything else. The fairways and ruff are excellent and weed free.

Very good value for the money, fairways were excellent.

The course was in great shape considering all the rain we had (almost 60mm) in the week leading up to my golf date. I would love to play the course again when it is a little bit warmer and the greens have been rolled, but overall very enjoyable

Knollwood
Little wet,still early in the season. Carts were not out yet had to walk. But not a big deal. Would play again. Excellent staff.
Great first game of season
course still quite wet in spots. Nice course to walk. Only white tee boxes out.
Very slow
Pace was very slow almost five hours to play not a course to play if you just want to get in a quick round
Poor Shape
The Fairways were in rough shape, the greens aerated and full of sand.
Narrow, sometimes unfair course layout
Very little room for error off the tee, and even if you hit a near-perfect shot you often end up with either an uneven lie or an obstructed shot into the green. Too many tee boxes are dangerously close to the previous hole's green (less than 20 feet away), and a number of blind shots either off the tee or into the green require you to be on high alert for wayward shots for much of the round.
First time on course
The course was in excellent condition considering the lack of rain this year. Well worth the money. Staff was excellent and pleasant. The only problem I would say is that the group behind us keep tee off right up to us sometimes landing within 10 yards or so. When we waited to let them by us the would take there time getting to the tee so we just played on. That would be my only complaint. Would highly recommend this course
