About
Located on the outskirts of the southwestern city of Guelph, Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of scenic golf that sprawl across a rolling landscape of trees and ponds. The Willows golf course is one of the three nine-hole courses at the club. The Willows features an abundance of trees that demand accuracy and keen course management. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers throughout the course. Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club's Willow course offers a fair challenge, but it is also approachable for beginning and intermediate players. The other two golf courses provide plenty of other golfing options as well.

Last minute booking made easy
Booked through golf now app. Late at night found open spot for two early in morning. Staff friendly interaction. Good course for my caliber of golf. Would go back again
Great Course
The course was in fairly decent condition,t some of the tee boxes were a little patchy, but the par 3 tee boxes were in good condition. The second nine we played (lakes) had little mounds around every pin location which made putting frustrating. All in all, a great course and right around the value for the price paid.
Power Carts
Nice that they are electric. Charging $20 per player is a ripoff!
Tee boxes dried out...
Played the course before, but this time the tee boxes were so hard and poorly kept that it was difficult to even get a tee in the ground...irrigation would help, but also they are lumpy and not level...the rest of the course was in good shape.
Worth the Drive
Ariss is located on the outskirts of Guelph but with three nice 9s, it’s worth the drive.
Usually one of the nines isn’t too busy. If you play the Pines, you finish on a spectacular pro hole but each track has a couple of really nice holes.
Greens are active!!
Really nice layout with some adventurous greens for some fun putts!!
Course a bit burnt by the hot weather
There were a few greens that have serious heat damage due to the hot weather we had over the past three weeks. Teed off around noon on Monday and pace was excellent. There were no other golfers on the course on my back nine
I reserved online for a 9:09 tee off but when I got there they did not have my reservation noted. They did let us play though so that is good, just a heads up that something went wrong in the on line registry.
The only problem with playing was that there was 2 of us and we had a foursome in front of us and a threesome behind. Being a casual golfer it did not matter but some "better" players may not appreciate it.
