About
Located on the outskirts of the southwestern city of Guelph, Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of scenic golf that sprawl across a rolling landscape of trees and ponds. The Willows golf course is one of the three nine-hole courses at the club. The Willows features an abundance of trees that demand accuracy and keen course management. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers throughout the course. Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club's Willow course offers a fair challenge, but it is also approachable for beginning and intermediate players. The other two golf courses provide plenty of other golfing options as well.

Fun day
Always very friendly staff. Never a problem getting a tee time with 27 holes. Covid protocols are excellent. Always enjoy playing at Ariss

The golf course was very understaffed in the morning when we checked in. We were told the first 9, and than mentioned we will be going right after to the next 9 so we can use an app that tracks stats of our play (we are not able to make changes of the game half way through). The second marshal stopped us very rudely and didn't want to listen to anything that we were told prior and/or match us with another 2 some, and forced us to change our back 9 to one of the worst 9 you will ever play (The Lakes!). You were not able to see the fairway as it was completely forgotten to be cut! Greens was dried, cracked, and not maintained. Take the $70 you were to spend on this very pour managed golf course and select any other course in this region and you will not regret it!
Pace of play
The Marshall’s need to watch pace of play rather than check carts for alcohol. Front nine was played in 2:20 and once we passed the foursome ahead of us the back nine was 1:40. Our 7:40 tee off should not have taken that long. However, very nice course
i used to love this course but now fairways grass is too long the greens no one repairs ball marks and rally spongy can see the soft spike marks from shoes all over the green especially around the cup with flag in. really not impressed .

Always enjoy coming to Ariss staff laid back and friendly. Golf course always in shape.
Pulled off the course due to weather
After 6 holes we had to vacate the course due to weather.
The course couldn't refund or provide a rain check because I booked with Golf Now.
This is the only way to connect with Golf Now to get a refund of rain check.

Ariss Valley Golf Course in rough shape
I have played this course in the past years and enjoyed it. This Year the T Blocks were in terrible shape and the greens had large browns spots on it. The fairways were in reasonable shape.
Great value!
The course is a great value. Reasonably priced for the caliber of the course. We played Willows to Lakes. Some of the greens had burn spots. Fairways were in good shape and rolling a ton as the soil was firming up. Had a very enjoyable day!
Last minute booking made easy
Booked through golf now app. Late at night found open spot for two early in morning. Staff friendly interaction. Good course for my caliber of golf. Would go back again
Great Course
The course was in fairly decent condition,t some of the tee boxes were a little patchy, but the par 3 tee boxes were in good condition. The second nine we played (lakes) had little mounds around every pin location which made putting frustrating. All in all, a great course and right around the value for the price paid.
