Gleneagle Golf Course
About
Gleneagle Golf Course in Arlington is just an hour north of Seattle. The 5,949-yard, par-70 layout may seem relatively short, but it's a course that will test your shot making skills and accuracy with strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The layout makes up for any lack of length in many other ways, including the treacherous rough that lines the rolling fairways. Water hazards come into play as well, but there are more on the front nine than the back. There are some challenging holes but overall, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf course, especially with its backdrop of cedar and fir trees spread across rolling hills. With a driving range also available, Gleneagle offers one of the area's best values for the money.

Wild Card Sunday
The course was a little wet due to all the rain, but 70 percent of the course dried pretty well. Fun course, great price, and will definitely play there again soon.
Excellent Value
The course was in great shape for the winter and provided a great value and challenging play.
Amazing condition for the winter
The course was obviously saturated, but the greens were in phenomenal winter shape. Very impressed.
Only reason I wouldn't play here again is the course is basically inside a neighborhood. There are a few nets but many of the holes have houses JUST off the fairways and exposed. There are signs everywhere that say golfers are responsible for any damage. If you struggle with accuracy, have any kind of slice or hook or anything, this is a very risky course since the odds of damaging property are so high. I'd be too scared to play again! But if you can hit the ball straight, you'll enjoy this course (Very short course... play from at least the blues)
Regularly played course
I’ve played this course at least 10-15 times and it never disappoints. Even in the rain the course still holds up. Winter time is a bit hard to find your ball. You can’t beat the hot deal for the course.
Black Friday round
It was a perfect day to swing the clubs without any of the rain beforehand and the sun even came out to warm things up. My round lasted 2:40 with a cart, with no delay on any hole.
Fun course but too many houses
I’m not a big fan of courses where houses are literally on the fairway. That said, this course has nice rolling fairways with fun elevation. As someone who isn’t a very long driver, I enjoyed how many holes were better with an iron off the tee. Because the course was empty we got through in 3 hours - and that includes a decent drive time between holes. Both of those statements are wins in my book.
A little advance info would have been nice
I have played Glen Eagle several times, and it's always been an enjoyable experience, as well as a good value for the money.
However, playing on Tuesday October 10th, I had no knowledge that:
1) The greens had been sanded (not a huge deal).
2) The back nine was closed.
The two issues made this round much less of a good value.
My fastest round ever!
I stayed my round at 7:30am, first person to tee off for the day. My round this day was finished by 9:50am, it was tuff on the smaller size greens, but the fairways made it possible to leave with a score of 84 from the blues.
GOLF NOW
I like the app but the fee they charge is too much. The course was great and check
In went smoothly.
Great round
6:57 tee time beautiful sunny morning. Started off done the center and stayed there all day, fairways running long and fast. Then pull up to 13 green to mamma deer and two babies, was close could've petted. Great day .
Greens in great shape
The tee boxes are a bit rough but the greens are in wonderful shape and worth the drive. The 11th hole was memorable...a risk reward par 5. Only about 6000 from the tips but just narrow enough to be fun because this course will ask you to work it both ways.
Golfed on the day of the eclipse
Pace of play was absolutely terrible waited and waited and waited and waited
Greens were in very nice shape overall the course is pretty much in various stage of despair and lack of attention and maintenance
Great valie
Nestled inside a housing development, with some distance between holes. Wouldn't try to walk it. Nice variety of holes and hazards on each hole. Not very long, the challenge comes from uneven lies and avoiding trouble around and approaching the greens. Greens and fairways are in good shape. Some of the tees, and areas just off the fairway, not so much. For $25-30 its a great deal. Have played three or four times this year and will play again.
First time at Gleneagle - SUPERB GREENS!!!
At first I was thinking, as I was on the back 9, that I didn't know if I'd play here again or not. But given where I'm at in my life (60 yrs old with RA), it's a course that I no doubt will play probably numerous times ahead. It's a bit on the short side in terms of distance, but there are numerous holes where trouble is pretty easy to find. If you're a young, long ball hitter, this course can 'be had'. But for me now, at this stage in my life, it works pretty well. And as my title indicates, the nicest thing about this course is the greens. They were in EXCELLENT shape. Granted I played it in the middle of August, obviously prime time for weather. But still, I've read other reviews saying wonderful things about the greens as well.
