Gleneagle Golf Course
About
Gleneagle Golf Course in Arlington is just an hour north of Seattle. The 5,949-yard, par-70 layout may seem relatively short, but it's a course that will test your shot making skills and accuracy with strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The layout makes up for any lack of length in many other ways, including the treacherous rough that lines the rolling fairways. Water hazards come into play as well, but there are more on the front nine than the back. There are some challenging holes but overall, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf course, especially with its backdrop of cedar and fir trees spread across rolling hills. With a driving range also available, Gleneagle offers one of the area's best values for the money.

Coming soon
Gleneagle has had a lot of work to do over the last couple years, since conditions were very poor.. Good news is they are making progress.
Greens are healthy and rolling. They should be great this summer
Fairways still recovering from winter/spring
Give the crew another month and wet spring conditions will subside.
Good value course. Challenging layout. Precision required - or a lot of golf balls.
This course is very nice. It's only par 70 so a short course. But it is nevertheless challenging. It has some unique holes. People who were playing slowly allowed us to pass which was nice since we are fast players. The fairway is still a bit wet, so sometimes we lose our ball in the fairway. Some of the greens are quite small so challenging. Lots of water, sand and also hills. Nice course!
Gleneagle Golf Course
For all the rain we have had the course is in pretty good shape, fairways drain pretty good and the greens are true
Excellent value as always!
Great 12th Man deal going on... Can't beat the price. The greens still in wonderful shape. Could stand to pick up from the windstorm. A lot of debris.
Good Pac NW Public course
Good little course just north of Marysville, Wa. Book online and get pretty good deal. Teed off around 8 am. Not many golfers for a Monday am. Course winds through residential homes. Short even from the backs, but lots of tree lined undulating fairways give a few birdie opportunities if you keep it in the short stuff. Played with my father (approx. 20 hcp) and he was challenged from the back tees. Will play this course again. Well worth the drive from Seattle.
Great greens
The greens are cut everyday to perfection so you always get a true read and great lies throughout the course
a good place with golf friends
Excellent scenic course with very kind people around.
Absolutely I will recommend to other people.
Unbelievable midweek find for $10
Well kept course tee to green. Pace was great for midday Thursday.
Would play again and would advise to give this track a go.
Beautiful Day
Beautiful Setting, a little rough in spots, lots of fun, midweek was not crowded,
Great Greens
I have played this course over the past few years last year it was in bad shape but this year it is in great condition the greens our as good as you will find any place better than most the rest of course is good to very good. For the money its the best in the area.
Glen Eagle
Course was in exceptionally in good condition. Green were awesome condition. Tee boxes could have used a little help, weren't mowed, didn't feel like a tee box. Sand traps could have been fluffed, were hard. Had a great round. July 4th so no food available. Generally speaking no complaints. Jeff J.
Great job by grounds crew
Ok so this is a pretty tight course but it is a lot of fun and forces you to get your Slice under control.
You can really see the hard work paying off for the ground crew! The traps have all been raked out and the fairways and rough cleaned up. The tee boxes still need some love but I think the crew will be getting those shaped up pretty quick! I have played this course often over the years and I think this is the best shape the course has been in my memory!
Best it's looked in awhile.
This course is making a nice comeback, the fairways are in terrific shape, the sand is the best it's been in a long time. The tee boxes are still a little rough but they are working on them. The staff from the Clubhouse to the Bar is Top Notch and they have the best food on any course!
Course conditions are good again
I've had a membership to Gleneagle for the past 2 years. I didn't renew this year because course conditions were pretty bad last year (as other reviews attest). I went and played there today and conditions are getting close to where they were 2-3 years ago. It's a fun, challenging course and a great value. My 36 holes were super fast. If you decided not to play there since last year. Give it another shot. You'll enjoy it.
Nice greens
Very friendly staff and good price. Overall not a bad course. The tee boxes are in serious need of some TLC.
Better than I thought it would be
Course is tight requiring good shots to the greens. Greens are a little slow but overall I really enjoyed playing this course. Birdies and doubles are out there.I will play it again.
It was a solid course.
I enjoyed the course and the layout.
Tee boxes
The worst tee boxes ever! Why not rope off a section at a time and plant some grass. The fairways are great, greens are ok bunkers very nice and the rough good be cut a little shorter. A nice challenging course.
I too played this course this last week. At best I would only give overall rating 2 stars. Yes the staff do a good job but the course is in need of a good makeover. The tee boxes were like the rough, 2 1/2" and uneven. The greens are nice, but don't expect your ball to check up.
