Length 5949 yards
Slope 138
Rating 69.1

Gleneagle Golf Course in Arlington is just an hour north of Seattle. The 5,949-yard, par-70 layout may seem relatively short, but it's a course that will test your shot making skills and accuracy with strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The layout makes up for any lack of length in many other ways, including the treacherous rough that lines the rolling fairways. Water hazards come into play as well, but there are more on the front nine than the back. There are some challenging holes but overall, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf course, especially with its backdrop of cedar and fir trees spread across rolling hills. With a driving range also available, Gleneagle offers one of the area's best values for the money.

You can tell work is being done to get this course back in shape

Use to come out and play this course on a regular bases and it just went to the dumps. Everything from the pro shop, to the restaurant, to the course just needed help. Not sure what the relationship of the home owners / course / restaurant is but seems like they have a lot of potential here to have something special. This time out my group could tell they are trying to recover things. Money is being spent and that is obvious especially with regards to the course. Drainage is much improved and the greens are the best that I can recall them being. The restaurant still has the most room for improvement with even the layout just being odd. Food is average and service has yet to be able to hire someone there who can multi task. I am sure they will get it figured out but my guess is the restaurant is not part of the golf operation.

If looking for a good deal and a place that is not going to be just crowded with people with waiting every hole this is the place for you.

Too many hazards

I don't fully ubnderstand why it is that I lose so many balls on this corse. I can play other courses for a complete season and not lose s ball. This course has all the hazards at my typical shot lengths. A very frustrating course

Fairways were mud...and it was not raining

Hard to get excited about playing golf when the fairways were muddy. Course of play, was extremely slow for very few golfers on the course, ended up with 3 groups in front us us on 10th hole, so we gave up and went home.

The course can get a lot of raii in the Spring and it has some drainage problems when it rains quite a bit. I played there in early May of 2012, was raining, a lot of standing water in the fairways, and 1 or 2 feet deep water in the sand traps, and it was a 39.00 round with car!!! I was very upset and shouldn't have played in that. The course really should not have been open that day. When it is dry it is a pretty nice course to play. Home owners need to do more to protect some of the houses though. It should not be the golfer's responsibility to pay for damages to a house in a danger zone. It is a golf couse for God sake! If you spray the ball a lot off the tee or on other shots, I would think twice about playing this golf course.

Great greens

Even though it had snowed and the fairways were soggy, having the cart allowed us to get around pretty well. Once you get to the greens, you can enjoy the good putting experience.

This golf course a real challenge target golf.

Play this course on Tuesday Feb 19,13 Thank to the weather break with sun and no rain, since I just move up here from Los Angeles California still new to this Wa. weather. Course conditions were better than expected, green were in excellent shape, this course is set up for a better player with newer course design more like target golf, you really have to be precised in yardage, lot of water & hazards come in to play, narrow fairways, rolling hills.
Overall, I love the course can't wait til spring and summer to really enjoy playing in dry conditions.
