Tarandowah Golfers Club

What a great course, and different for this area (I wouldn’t recommend a new golfer place this could unless they have patience). It is an amazing layout and challenge (as close to links style as you can get in the area). Only “problem” was that, with so many bunkers, the bunkers were often low on sand and packed pretty good. The depth of the bunkers means even more need to maintain the bunkers. Other than that... what a spectacular course.

Only my second time playing a links course. Difficult with lots of sand traps. Pretty course. Would definitely play again

Dusty parking lot. Freshly washed car is a mess. Choked on dust on the cart paths. Tee boxes required a cordless drill to get a tee in the ground. Fairway grass is not consistent. Clover, weeds, green grass. Greens burning and hard as a rock. Bunkers placed in ridiculous spots. Last time folks.

Heard about this course for years. Recently moved to area and finally got out. Amazing true links golf. Scaled down, bare bones golf. No artisan pastry, no GPS carts, no BS. golf the way it was meant to be played. No ball washers, no benches, no BS. Range is perfect. Everything you need for a round of golf with no distractions. MUST keep ball in fairway or will be a very long day!

Great course layout and condition. If you like a challenge this course is for you

This is one of Ontario's best courses. Hawrtee designed a gem here, with his legacy, that players of links courses can love! All forced carries, it's not for the faint of heart. It is not a course for duffers! You have to hit the shots to stay in play which makes it all the more challenging. when conditions are benign, then have at it, but when the wind is up, look out, Personally, when the wind blows, I love it! You will not be able to hit greens from the fairway bunkers, so the advice her is, don't hit any fairway bunkers!!! A Hawtree nuance,

But remember, you have to be able to hit a good ball.

This is a great course, and if you deny that, then you can't play this game well, stick to parkland courses.....stick to needlepoint!

This course is always a pleasure. High winds brought lots of challenge but the course is somewhat soft (not wet) after the wet spring making it playable even with the winds up. Course was in fantastic condition making it undoubtably the best public play in the London area right now...

This is a really nice laid out and challenging course in the links style. However there are no ball washers and the marking of the paths between holes leaves something to be desired if you do not know your way around.

All around a great day from start to finish good shape for the wet condition we have been having greens were fantastic we’ll be back soon

True links course. Greens are very fast. You do not want to be above the hole. Overall a true test of every part of your game.

Wind swept round, glad to play my first and likely last round at Tarandowah as I will be moving back West in the spring. Glad to play here! Worth it..course was lush so played with very little roll on fairways and greens held well. Not as tough as it should be.

This is a really fun course to play. It's link style with lots of bunkers. (When I was in them it was automatically a double bogey). The rough is thick long grass so goodbye ball (when I was in it it was automatically a double bogey). I usually shoot between 85 and 90 but was happy here to break 100...shot a 97. The fairway and greens where in really good shape. BUT the greens where as hard as cement so nothing stayed on whether it was a pitch or punch. However putting conditions where excellent. I really recommend you play here to experience true links style like the Open.

great track, can't wait too play agin,worth the drive.hard too stay out of traps,need good shots off the tees, can set up hole's for pars or birdies.love that course.
