About
The Valley Course is a heavily forested golf course is the original layout at the club. The course is unique in that it has relatively short yardages rated with such high slopes mainly due to the tight fairways and numerous elevation changes. The driver will most likely stay in your bag while the long irons will be used often. The golf course is very tight, offering an ideal place to get some practice with irons. It is also provides an ideal warm-up round for the more difficult course at the Horseshoe Resort, the Highlands Course.

Nice Afternoon Round
This is a nice course to either play a morning or afternoon round. It was in nice shape, pace of play was good and all enjoyed our round.
Course was more than adequate for the price paid however, it is very hilly in a few challenging holes
12 great holes
Too bad they reduced this from 18 to 12. It it is a great 12 holes and friendly helpful staff

Disappointed duffer
Greens and teeboxes were in nice shape. Fairways were decent but a lot of the rough looked like it had been neglected...very poor condition. And when I made my purchase on GolfNow it indicated cart was included in booked pmnt. They refused steadfastly to accept this at the pro shop even when showing the details I had via gmail and a screenshot. I grudgingly pd it again but this defeated the reason why I bought this round and drove as far as I did. This, in conjunction with the course condition, will ensure it's my last visit to Horseshoe Resort. I will admit it's got some beautiful views and vistas. At least something was garnered from the visit.

Great place if you want a quick round at leisure pace with moderate challenges.
Provided you do not hook or slice, stay stay away as you will not like the trees.
