The Valley Course is a heavily forested golf course is the original layout at the club. The course is unique in that it has relatively short yardages rated with such high slopes mainly due to the tight fairways and numerous elevation changes. The driver will most likely stay in your bag while the long irons will be used often. The golf course is very tight, offering an ideal place to get some practice with irons. It is also provides an ideal warm-up round for the more difficult course at the Horseshoe Resort, the Highlands Course.

Course is in terrible condition and no staff regulating tee times or pace

good value if you find a sale price
Greens are excellent.Most fairways are mediocre.Several cart paths are washing out with heavy rains.

Outstanding Vista
Greens and fairways well groomed. But rough was too long...couldn't get out. Difficult holes a challenge but loved it. Will play again. 12 holes perfect....doesn't take up your entire day.

12 holes could have been a great value but...
Horseshoe once had 2 courses, the highlands (good) and the valley (average) and its reduced now to just the valley, and it's been reduced to 12 holes. It has the potential to be the greatest bang for buck in the area, but sadly it remains over priced. Hot deals on golf now seem the only way to pay what the course is worth.

Only 12 holes?
Has tons of Potential to be a nice course as it once was. Horseshoe resort needs to get off their wallet and spend some money on their course. And for gods sake make it a full 18, the 12 holes is an embarrassment to golf. Also 1 beer and and two small Halloween size Pringle cans were 22 dollars that was definitely a ripoff

Skunks
Skunks had a party the night before and ripped up a few fairways. For 12 holes this is a great course to pay .
