Southbrook Golf and Country Club
About
Nestled in the quaint village of Binbrook, Southbrook Golf & Country Club has a charmingly idyllic yet convenient location that is only minutes from the QEW, the 403, and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. The club first opened in 1969 with a nine-hole golf course, which was later expanded to 18 holes in 1972. A renovation of the golf course resulted in a redesign of five holes on the front nine and a new irrigation system. Southbrook Golf & Country Club now plays to a 6,560 yards and its new challenges demand precision and keen course strategy. The meandering Welland river snakes through the golf course as well, coming into play on 13 holes while also enhancing the natural beauty of the course.

Beautiful course
The course was really beautiful. Some tricky holes, sloping greens and very lush grass to hide balls even if only the fringe of the fairways.
Good course
Played from 9 with my son, looked great and played at our own pace. Has a proper driving range, was great to warm up before needing a breakfast (early supper?) ball off the first tee lol
Will definitely be back for another round this summer.
Way too long
It was a hot muggy day and tee off was at 3. We got off on time but it was so slow out there. On every tee after few holes there were 2 groups and sometimes 3. Took over 2 1/2 hours to play 9. Then back nine course made changes so 19 holes but they skip one hole to make it 18 so par 71. Back nine was also very slow and group in front quit after 12 holes. Our group thought of quitting also since it was frustrating waiting so long to shoot. Took us also little over 2 1/2 hours to play since group quit so would have been longer. Finished 8:15. Did not enjoy golfing. Never saw a Marshal out there all day. Maybe a Marshal would have talked to who ever was slow to play faster.
Southbrook
Course in great shape. Challenging layout for all levels of golfers. Friendly staff. Greens in excellent condition.
Porta Potties need to be better maintained. 2 were unusable.
Slow
Slowest round in years.. i think they overbook. I was there from 12:40 - 6 to finish one round. Didnt help that there wasn’t a starter to direct the traffic to start the day. Only positive from the day I’d say is the staff being friendly I’d say.
Great day
Love playing this coarse. It's very nicely taken care of. Only complaint about this round was the pa e. A group ad a tee off at 1130 and didnt show up until 130 and jumped in to play it made it very slow. At lines we had 3 groups on 1 hole
