Glen Eagle Golf Club - Red/Blue
About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

Glen Eagle
Tee boxes need work, all cart paths need work. Course is in decent condition. Feel it could be a lot better
Challenge and forgiveness on Bule/Yellow
We played Blue/Yellow and the course was in great shape. Love the length and elevation.. Greens were tough. All in all, one of my absolute faves in the GTA.
Maintenance
Bunkers are hard as a rock they need to be tilled not just raked, T boxes need repair, As well as greens need to be aerated to fix all the ball marks from golfers not repairing
OK course, played red/blue 9s
Busy, like all courses in the area this year (suddenly, everyone's taken up golf!), despite a rain delay in starting.
Paid senior's rate. Had to ask for it; partner was not offered one, even though he's older than me.
Course conditions good. Layout is awkward; yellow course is interchanged with the blue course, resulting in a long way back to the clubhouse at the end of the round.
Enjoyable Round
Very pleasant and enjoyable round on a challenging rolling hill course.
Terrible Experience
Worst round that I have played this year. We got stuck behind a four some that was playing at a terribly slow pace. Tee boxes were backed up. Took our group 3 hours to finish 9 holes! 3 hours! After calling the Marshall and speaking with him nothing changed and we were forced to skip a hole and rush through our next 9 holes. Terrible experience for a $100 round of golf. Figure it out glen eagle.

Fix
The bunkers need to top up with proper sand and the carts really could use some servicing.
Great morning round, decent value with UnderPar
Overall good round today and good value as I utilized an UnderPar deal, I would not pay the stated price of $80 + tax to golf here in my opinion. Greens were great, fairway condition average, tee decks a bit chewed up and filled in with seed and sometimes angled.
I also played a twilight round a week ago at this course and there were no rangers enforcing pace of play and we got stuck behind a group at beginning that took 90 mins to play 4 holes, had 1 bag for four people and did not advance at the set pace. This seems to be typical at this course with regards to no ranger enforcing pace of play, I would not recommend going to this course 4pm on wards not matter what you pay, it is a gong show.

Great Overall
Heard many negative reviews and needed to see for myself.
The greens were great albeit many ball marks but this course appears to get a lot of traffic. Works and new sod is underway on many tee boxes. The layout is not for your weekend golfer.
Every fairway has elevation changes and are tree lined.
I would play it again.
