Glen Eagle Golf Club - Red/Blue
About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

This course has good features.
Green condotion was no good because of preparation for winter.
Nice scenery
Good value for the money, however the greens were air rated and really bumpy.....we deemed them 2 put greens because the puts wouldn't hold their lines....they could have been rolled to make them more puttable. There was a short pudgy guy in the pro shop who had the personality of a rock! Lighten up buddy!!
super course
I will be back next year definitely a great course very well kept fun for everyone firstimer to pros.
friendly and efficient pro shop opperator
I just play a beautiful and enjoyable round of golf in November, course in decent conditions, remember is November, and I will be back here
Up & Down and Fair
A fairly hilly course and lots of options to try different shots. The greens on the par 4's & 5's are large and play very true. Since it is the end of the season though several greens are full of sand so it is difficult to putt. The day we played also was the day that all the leaves on the course decided to fall so we lost a lot of time and balls in the thick leaves
finishing up the year
Was great, the 3 guys I was supposed to be with went out early so I was by myself. Other golfers let me play through, which was great. I did catch up to the threesome but still played alone. They were hitting from the whites and I was hitting from the blues. Great day when you can finish a round under 4 1/2 hours
excellent couse
Excellent course. It was a very good deal by GolfNow. It is a long course so if you are a slow golfer, give yourself at least 5-5 1/2 hrs. But you will have a great time.
Thank you, customer service @ Glen Eagle
We prepaid an early morning Hot Deal (7:30 am ish I believe) and long story short, two members from my group came an hour late but the course was very very nice enough and accommodating to push our tee time back to 9 am instead.
The course was in great condition and would play it again in a heartbeat!
Good!
Tired for driving to Golf Course. I drove about 50 min. in early morning with cold weather. I started Yellow course and was too far to the first visiter to enter the first tee of the course. And the marshall pushed up even we played fast. We three player finished about 3 1/2 hr. foe 18 holes. The course was well maintained as well and enjoyed play.
Worth the drive
It's very difficult to find a good to great course in the Toronto area for a price many of us can afford. Thanks to Golf Now Hot Deals for the price point I could afford. This course was in pristine condition ,staff very friendly. Round a wee bit slow but course was packed. Hats off to the marshal who insisted the group ahead of me to move up to the white tees as the back tees were too much for their talent level.
Nice course
I like this golf course but it seems like their grounds crew can't wake up early. This is the only golf course I ever played at when at 11am they are doing work on the course while golfers are playing. Other then that I like golf course.
Beautiful course's
This is a great golf courses.. Well Maintenance. Not too hard for play.love it!
Good Course
NIce Course...We had great time , priced well..will soon play there...!!
Great Value
Great value from Hot Deals. Course was in good condition. I was very impressed with the condition the greens. Fun course with challenging holes.
Good golf in Bolton
Played Glen Eagle at 7:30 on Sunday on a cool morning. The course is in very good shape and a fair test of your abilities. We played the original course, Blue/Red with the 18th boasting the longest hole in Ontario at over 650 yards from the tips. We didn't play the tips, of course, but it is a tough and beautiful hole. Overall, great course. We had no waiting time and the service was top notch. The cart girl game by a little late for our liking at 11:30 or so but I didn't hold that against the course. Great course but I would say there's better value out where I live in the Oakville and Burlington area.
A good challenge
It was fun returning to Glen Eagles after about 6 years. It's still very busy but the Marshalls do a good job at keeping the pace of play up.
The course gets a heavy workload and still remains in very good shape, particularly the greens (medium fast) and a good challenge. I like the variety of holes and believe I used every club in my bag.
Will be back next year
sub 4 hr round
course in very good conditions, greens roll nice, tee boxes need some levelling
One great public course
Great course. The conditions were amazing. All the greens were rolling fast and true. There were almost no pitch marks to repair.the only drawback were yhe bunkers as they were more hard pack dirt than sand. The fairways and rough were lush and well maintained. The course was straight forward with one hard dogleg right on the yellow course.
overall really nice
Fair and challenging layout. Course was in grrat conditions, was rrally imprrssed with the greens they were fantastic. The only thing I found wrong with the course were the bunkers. I found myself in one or two and there was barely any sand in them at all
