About
Located just northwest of Toronto, Glen Eagle Golf Club offers three unique nines that provide three different 18-hole, championship courses. Spread across a scenic terrain of rolling hills and valleys, each course has unique vistas. The Yellow/Red golf course combines the most difficult nine with another that is considerably shorter with many opportunities for birdies. The 3,227-yard Yellow nine provides a gentle start with several short par 4s but prepare yourself for the Red, which stretches to 3,521 yards from the tips. This nine is the most difficult, demanding long drives as well as accurate tee shots. There are also large, elevated greens that are heavily contoured and surrounded by bunkers.

A great course offering excellent variety with each hole.
Overall, the course is well maintained. Some of the greens are showing some wear and tear but many are being actively repaired.
Having played this course twice with tournaments, I was pleased to play it with family members in a different setting. Remains a good course that challenges your skills.
The golf carts should be upgraded to electric vehicles. Current ones are old, loud not always functional and not great for the environment.
Challenging
I found the course challenging as an intermediate player but it was great for me to get my cracking on the driver. Will def do it again.
Pace on back 9 was extremely slow. 3 group on same tee box at one time. No marshal around on the back 9.
The pin placement indicator can't be seen from more than a hundred yards. Hard to hit shots not knowing if the pin is at the front, middle or back!!
First round with friends
The course was well laid out and the pace of play was good. Due to COVID the bunkers were in poor shape and we should have gotten free lifts. Restaurant wasn’t open. All in all a great outing
Great course and value for money!
I love it at Glen Eagle, great layout and the course always seems to be in great shape.
However, the cashier overcharged us for the green fees. When we pointed it out, she did provide a refund but no apology or any sign that she is sorry she made a mistake.
I’ll definitely go back mind you, but it’s the little things that separate a good experience from an awesome one!
