Club at Bond Head - South

Tee off at 9:20-ish and the round took just over 4hours, most of those 4hours were spent looking the Fall colors, panoramic views and as far as you can see undulating landscapes. Even the night before rain did not slower the roll of the greens. Beautiful course!!!

Had a great day on Bond Head South today, but the greens are in rough condition…. It seems that the people that play the course do not repair their ball marks on the greens. The staff needs to figure out a solution for this.

The greens were in pretty rough shape with bare patches coming through on a lot of the greens. It looks like they don’t even try and maintain the bunkers anymore. Very little sand in them and what is there is packed down hard mud.

Maintenance of the course has gone down the last couple of years and takes away from a very nice layout for golfers of all ranges

Signage from hole to hole is not well marked and easy to go the wrong way.

It would be nice to have a tee marker range somewhere between white and blue. To much of a yardage range between these markers. For my game a course distance in the range of 6,000-6,200 is optimal and on the South course white was around 5600 and blue was 6500. To great a range for the average player.

Carts not cleaned, no one to replenish range balls for an hour, no one to help with the pace, disinterested staff, and a course that is being left to rot. I used to love coming here, but I'm in no rush to come back.

Some holes not marked very well. Course conditions especially bunkers and some greens were really poor. Getting on and off cart path in some areas was terrible due to little to no maintenance on erosion of soil from rain storms. Most of the bunkers were literally hard clay. The views were quite picturesque and the pace of play was good. This was probably once a really great course but guessing Clublinks is not putting any money into it anymore

Some holes were not marked at all or were marked poorly, especially on the front nine. Since it was the first time playing this course it was annoying to have to guess which way to go only to have to turn around when you guessed wrong. Other then the greens being in rough shape on some holes due to a tournament running the same day we played, it was a challenging yet fair course. Very picturesque views on some holes. Decent value for the money. Would definitely play here again

Cart was barely able to make it up the smallest incline. And on a course like this with tons of hills made it tough to even play. Our cart ended up dying on 16 so we had to walk about 2km to our cars in the pitch black. Couldn't find anyone to talk to when we finally got back to the clubhouse, as I would of liked to give my feedback. Due to pace of play and the cart problems we only got 15 holes in. Which is ridiculous. I'd like to be compensated for the round. All in all big let down. We also saw about 6 abandoned carts throughout our round.

Some fairways were in bad shape and bunkers not rake with some abandoned.
