Golfer Reviews
What happened?
I've been playing this course for seven years and today was a disappointment. The greens were terrible, and the rest of the course was in rough shape. Somebody get a lawnmower out there!
Great layout.
So much fun to play. Great layout for every golfer. White tees make it fun to play. Blue tees make it challenging.
For so early in the year, in great shape.
Staff very friendly
Gone downhill
played south course. It has gone downhill since last time i played it. (2 years ago). Bunkers are terrible, greens are the slowest ive ever seen them, weeds everywhere and couldnt even get a beverage on the course... No Beer cart....For 85$ plus tax this is unacceptable.. Oh yeah i forgot to mention no range balls either...
Great challenging course
This course is beautiful not as nice as the nort, but definitely worth the time.
First play at Bond Head South course
One of the prettiest course and layout played this year. Greens in rough shape as nobody repaired their divots. Showed up 20mins b4 tee off. Walked up to starter and mentioned I had prepaid but still wanted me to check in with pro shop. Wasted my time in pro shop not only to wait in line but was told I did not have too as I had prepaid. Only course ever that did not allow me to use my cart to pickup my clubs from my car. Surprised a supposedly high end course did not have courtesy cart for golfers and their clubs. Staff shortage was not the issue as 4 was available. By the time I carried my clubs to my cart, I was 5 mins past my tee time and the party I was to join had already teed off. Pace was very slow and no Marshall to speed up play. There was also a group of 6 on the course. At 17th hole a worker came by and dictated that it was our last hole. There was just enough light but was refused to complete the 18th hole. Not a very good experience for playing the South course for the first time. Hard to recommend this course when you are treated like this.
We enjoyed playing the course. Perhaps there could be more directional signs to find the holes especially when two paths meet or when you can’t see the next hole from the previous green.
Scenic Round
Tee off at 9:20-ish and the round took just over 4hours, most of those 4hours were spent looking the Fall colors, panoramic views and as far as you can see undulating landscapes. Even the night before rain did not slower the roll of the greens. Beautiful course!!!
Fall golf
Had a great day on Bond Head South today, but the greens are in rough condition…. It seems that the people that play the course do not repair their ball marks on the greens. The staff needs to figure out a solution for this.
