Disappointing
With it being the last year as a club link course the course was not well maintained from the greens to the bunkers. I wish I had known this before as I would never have paid the kind of money for this round. When we arrived the staff was very unhelpful and rude as we wanted to go to the driving range. When asked if we could go to the driving range the response was “ not in that cart.” And no one told us how to access range balls. Completely disappointed. I brought my father in law as a thank you and was embarrassed at the quality of the course. Won’t be back ever.
Good layout
The course is a fine test of golf, course management is a must if you want to score.
Unfortunately it fell short as no beverage/food cart on the course, halfway house not open on the turn and bunkers were bare or covered in mud.
Very Poor Conditions
Will not return this year. Course was in the poorest condition I have seen it. Clearly they take no pride in the once beautiful course since they are leaving Club Link. I cannot believe I payed $83.00 for this experience. May never go back. Such a shame!!!
The Club at Bond Head (south)
Very fun course fun layout unfortunately not worth the price as the conditioning was very poor compared to other courses in the area.
Course condition
Great course with challenging but fair layout. However, Covid conditions notwithstanding, the course was not in great shape and badly in need of some maintenance. Also couldn’t understand why a beverage cart wasn’t available - not for beer, but for water in light of 30+ temperatures.
Challenging course.
Enjoyed the course, greens were a bit beat up with rough bare patches. A bit slow today and as a result couldn’t finish the entire round due to darkness.
