Club at Bond Head - South

Upon arriving we were told that we would be able to tee off earlier than we had booked IF WE were able to check in quickly. We arrived at the cashier and after telling her our group name and that I was paying for two of the four the cashier rang me in for a single. It took too long to check in. We got out early but the pace of play was slower than it usually plays at Bond Head. Ultimately taking over 5 hours.

The group in front of us was playing from the gold tees, over 7000 yds. Two of the three should have been playing from the whites but there were no Marshalls to monitor.

The course is in great shape (south). The greens were quick but true. The fairways were in good shape.

All in all a good day but could have been better.

South Course - Long hitters are rewarded with makable greens in regulation. Don’t be shy about moving up a tee box or two course plays long. Greens in great shape large and difficult. Overall a great track.

Great course! Super fast greens challenged a great score

We play all over at Pipers Health, Crosswinds, Osprey and Hidden Lake. Thus course is by far the slowest. We have played Bond Head about 6 times last year and twice those year. Won't go back. Lots of staff and Marshall's but they do NOTHING to speed game up. We skipped two holes today. Otherwise our round would have been 5 hours. Nice course but they need to move it along be especially in the back nine. We saw 8 carts lined up and Marshall still told us rate of play was good. REALLY?????

Need some hole# guidance & more lager tee off mark.

From amateur to extremely experienced, you come to play bond head south or north course and you will be pleasantly surprised. Challenging and fun to play, both courses are well kept with friendly staff, great amenities and an all around great experience.

Great golfers course. Big course, rewarding when managed well. Tough rough and bunkers. Not he best service when arriving at the course. Carrying bag and bondhead guy looks and drives away on the cart. Slow service in the club on the turn but nice people they just need a little fine tuning to raise their level abit. But a very enjoyable course!

Several bunkers were terrible in South course. one has cracked dry mud surface and some just have little sand, can’t hit a normal bunker shot.

Bunkers were not racked and most of them like concrete floor. some of them had wild plant in them. Could not imagine that such an elite course is not maintained. what a shame.

Great Course. Fast greens. Lots of 3 putts.

Friendly staff. Food in the club house was great.

Look forward to playing it another day.

Slow pace of play for a morning tee time. Marshalls made no effort to improve pace of play. Some par 4's too short and some part 3's too long = wasn't a good fit overall. Pin placements were nasty.

Would not rush back there.

One thing I was confused about the fairway bunkers, they were terrible, not well kept. Except that , wonderful.

Our twosome was paired up with a couple and rhebolay was fine for the front nine. We took a five minute break and on the 11th hole or so a gentleman friendlily requested we should pick up the pace when throughout the rest of the round we did not see a group and single golfer behind us. He might be doing his job by looking at our tee time but my partner was upset enough to lose his concentration the rest of the round.
