Great course
Both courses at bond head are great. Fairways always in great shape. The south is more forgiving on your drive as the north requires a long carry on some holes. Always a great time.

Course Not Ready For Play
Today, Saturday May 4, my foursome golfed at Bond Head South. We are all members at another private golf club and it was incredible what an awful experience this was – it was so bad we quit after 9 holes!!! This is what we ran into:
1. First, one golf cart had faulty brakes and it started rolling down the hill on hole one. We had to go get a new one.
2. The course is in awful shape – it should not have even been opened yet. Tee boxes, greens and fairways were disgusting.
3. The pace of slow is awful, nearly 3 hours to do 9 holes and waited on each shot.

I have sent you an email to discuss your experience further. Our time par for the day was 5 hours which is below our expectations of 4.5 hours and we strive to continue to enhance where possible - due to the difficulties of our courses some groups do find it more challenge to stay on pace. Something we will continue to stay on top of.
We have certainly had a very wet and cold spring which hasn't aided in getting conditions into mid-season form. As i'm sure you've seen at other clubs. With the upcoming forecast we are looking forward in maintaining our guest experience and course conditions as we approach the summer.
I look forward in hearing back from you via email. We hope to see you return this summer to see the course in high season elements.
Over 5 hour round
I realize it’s the end of the year, but pace of play was extremely slow and no marshell around to speed groups up. Took us over 5 hours to complete the round. No wonder golf participation is declining.

Beauty course
Wide open off almost every tee. Forgiving yet fair. Greens are in good shape, medium speed.

Should Not be Clublink
The staff was not very friendly in the clubhouse. The person that put us in the cart was nice. The pace of play was extremely slow... almost 6 hours to play a round of golf. The course Marshalls weren't helpful at all.
This is a clublink course and as a clublink member I was extremely dissapointed. A member couldn't get a tee time here but I could going throgh golf now. This course operates more like a public course than that of a private course.

Good test of golf
Course in goood conditions as allways, challenging greans, thick ruff wery good course for low heandycuper. Links style feel.

Very very slow play
No Marchand available to speed up lay....waiting average of10 miuts every shot not every hole

Excellent golf course. I only had two problems, if you didn’t have a GPS your at a huge disadvantage.

Teed off 20minutes past our tee time.
Starter should not delay the actual tee time of a group, no its or buts. We followed a single player and the Marshall (Glenn) told us to catch up when we were approaching hole #15 because of playing slow? We teed off at 2:50pm and he said we're close to 4hours already and playing Bond Head should be playing 4hours and a half. I can't believe this Marshall didn't realize that we were playing reasonably on time even though the single player already in hole #17.

When our marshals review pace of play, they always base it off time par and very rarely would be based on the position with the group ahead. In this instance he was basing it off time par through 14 holes is 3.5 hours - however, if he didn't have your actual time you teed off, that could have been the issue. The biggest complaint in golf is slow play, so we do try to do everything we can to enhance that experience for all.

Great course!
Played the south course today - pace was a bit slow but the course was in good shape, especially considering the hot summer we’re having so far. Nice layout and the (massive) greens, although fairly fast, were very readable and rolled true. Friendly staff as well. Good day all around and will be back!

Will play again
Upon arriving we were told that we would be able to tee off earlier than we had booked IF WE were able to check in quickly. We arrived at the cashier and after telling her our group name and that I was paying for two of the four the cashier rang me in for a single. It took too long to check in. We got out early but the pace of play was slower than it usually plays at Bond Head. Ultimately taking over 5 hours.
The group in front of us was playing from the gold tees, over 7000 yds. Two of the three should have been playing from the whites but there were no Marshalls to monitor.
The course is in great shape (south). The greens were quick but true. The fairways were in good shape.
All in all a good day but could have been better.
