Prices are too cheap
Had a horrible experience playing the South course. You can play the whole afternoon here at $39.99 and it is drawing too many beginners to the course. We were stuck behind two groups who can only advance the ball 30 yards at most on each shot, and they spent an entire minute looking for their balls in the fescue (and this happened 5x per home). There were no marshals around and everybody after them has a 5+ hour round. The greens were not in top shape due to the weather and traffic, but it was $39.
What happened to a nice course
Being a former Clublink member, I played this course many many times over the years.
This course was in much better shape 10 years ago, especially prior to turning semi private.
I dare to say, Clublink has not been taking care of the course.
Many of the landscape with long grass protecting the green has been cut down.
Bunkers with so much weeds and looked unattended for a long time especially with the rain this year, sand has been washed away.
The whole issue was we booked this course at around 1.15 pm on a monday thru Golfnow, for a 3.00 pm tee time. When we arrived, there were many groups waiting at the tee. We were right on time, but was force to drive up to the green to meet up with a 2 some pitching onto the green, missed playing that hole.
Why would they sold us that tee time almost last min. when they were already so busy?
Then the 4 some in front was playing from the back tee and at least 2 guys could not even hit pass the rough or the hazard. This not only delayed the pace, it was no fun to watch and wait for every single hole. But there were never any marshal around to help.
Other than that it was a nice round of golf on a cool summer day.
Don't Tell Anybody
Don't tell anyone, but this is a great, great course at a very reasonable rate. Don't tell anyone. I'd like to keep it all to myself. World class!
Pace of play/ tee blocks
I would like to state the fact that my experience there was very disappointing because the pace of play was not being marshalled throughout the round which led to many holes being clogged up with as many as 3 groups.
I would also like to add that the tee blocks are under maintained with weeds growing all over them. Very disappointed with our experience .
Kind Regards.
Evening tee off
Bond head south is one of our favourite courses in the area. Well maintained club link course. Very nice facilities. The course was in great shape. Unfortunately pace of play was slow as a twosome we were forced into a 4:45 pace with a tee off of 4:12 so we were unable to get a full round in.
Disappointing
This course used to be a treat to play. Ever since Clublink took it over it's been going down hill. Bunkers were not maintained. Many had grass growing in them. We traded in our cart after nine holes due to suspension issues. The cart they gave is for the back nine was even worse. Greens, fairways and tee decks in great shape. Can't drive all the way there to play out of hard pan bunkers and end up with a sore back because the carts are horrible.
Disappointment
You can tell the lack of investment in the course. (Condition and Marshall awareness). I wouldn't recommend the south course.
Extremely slow
I have played BH South a lot over the years (used to be a Clublink member). They are consistent in several things - the course has a great design and terrible pace of play. It is typical to wait for 5-10 minutes on every tee and to have your round go in excess of 5 hours and 15 minutes. The problem is not the players it is the spacing between groups which I believe is 8 minutes. Just a money grab and a disregard of the customer experience. My group will probably not go back again. It is just too frustrating.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and I do apologize for your disappointing experience. We try our best to keep on pace with 9 minute tee times and starter times throughout the day but it is a big property can prove to be difficult to keep pace moving steadily for the entire round. I am happy to say that even with over 450 golfers here each day this weekend, the staff has kept the pace to 4 hours and 35 minutes which is just 7 minutes above our posted time par. We have had issues with the 6th hole regarding wetness and have had to remain cart path only on that hole. This has led to a back up there, but we have been able to pick up time after that point. This issue will be restored shortly and pace will definitely improve. I can assure you that customer experience is very important here at The Club at Bond Head.
Again, I apologize for your experience today and I hope to see you again soon.

Monster of a Course
This 18 will challenge every club and shot in your arsenal.
This is a very difficult course, not for the "I golf twice a year" type player.
All the holes are laid out strategically and all are extremely challenging, regardless of which tees you choose to play.
Elevation changes create some spectacular views of the area.
Course condition is second to none. Enjoy it. I know I'll be back.
Thank you so much for your 5-Star review! We pride ourselves on providing a premium golf experience and we're happy to know you enjoyed your day here at The Club at Bond Head.
We look forward to your next visit!
A links style course
The course was in good shape other than quite wet on a few of the holes allowing for cart path only. The greens presented a good challenge but were in good playing condition. The front nine is well treed but the back nine is wide open links style with no trees. Tees vary from a reasonable 5800 yards from the white tees to an unreachable 7800 from the back tees. Tees from a novice to a PGA player.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review your experience here at The Club at Bond Head. I'm sorry that we missed the mark during your visit and certainly hope you are able to give us another chance soon. I'm happy that our wonderful staff made a good impression on you and that you enjoyed our clubhouse, I agree that they are both second to none. Our course conditions continue to improve now that we finally have this nice weather and greens and fairways have shaped up brilliantly.
Thank you again and we look forward to making a 5-star impression on your next visit.

first time
Hooked up with a party of 3 who were excellent company. Nice course to play with a variety of challenges. Early in the season and the course had areas "under construction". Enjoyable round. Will go back.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review. We will continue to work with our staff to improve our pace of play.
