Club at Bond Head - South

Windy and cold day 11c maybe is the reason why the south course was not so busy as mentioned by other reviewers and pace was very good. Heavy rain yesterday and it's wet and cart have a hard time getting back to the cart path but surprisingly the fairways are playable and clear of downed leaves. Greens are ok considering the weather condition, many bald portion but still good roll. Marshals are out there and really friendly, no need to push us as were moving along just fine.

Well be back in the spring and compare Howe itty plays.

Course was in great shape, greens are always tough to play here, lots of undulations and fast. Good times!!

5 1/2 Hours for round way to long.

paid our hard eaned money got all the way to the eleventh hole then it was to dark pace too slow no marshall

members were jumping in front of us complained to course were told to email manager but doesnt return emails or phone calls

The course is way overbooked, we walked off the course after 15 holes and five and a half hours of play

as it is the start of the fall golfing season, the greens were in rough shape. definitely needed some maintenance as it significantly effected scoring and overall satisfaction.

however, from tee to green the course was in great shape; just expecting a higher quality from the green complexes.

Excellent and challenging course. Only recommendation would be better signage to where the next hole is as it got a little confusing at times

My first hole in one today....

Front 9 greens were chewed up and the course seemed to be over booked, took 40mins to play 2 holes, usually the course is in better shape and pace of play isn't an issue. Played their before many times with a more enjoyable experience.

Played the South course. Went off at 8:40, while not early, I didn't expect to be waiting on the 2nd tee box. We could see that all the groups were waiting, so I figured they put too many people out too close together. The twosome in front of us were beyond taking their time. They spent 5 minutes looking for every ball, parked their cart in silly places and walked all over the hole. It was incredibly frustrating. By the back 9 they had totally fallen off pace and the two holes ahead of them were empty. I saw a Marshal once, but not sure if he pressed them to play quicker. Sitting behind those guys added 30 mins to what could have been a really nice 4 hour round.

bring your putting game or else it will be a long day.

Bond Head North/South has always been my no. 1 golf course. Everything I'm looking for is there such as Course difficulty; layout, pace of play, staff friendliness and more.

This course is one of my favourites in the GTA. It has great undulations and vistas. The greens are exceptionally fast for a public course, so get there early to hit the practice green. You'll need to get your speed calibrated.

held up by a 3some and a 2some on a cold wet windy day with the marshall of no help to speed up play did not help. South course in fine condition other than chopped up greens and pitch marks.

Really enjoy the many challenges of this great track. Green speed was awesome with some really challenging green surfaces to read. This is a low handicap players dream. Gold tees over 7000 yards with the option of black tees at over 7500 yards. Plenty of room to play and room provided for the big winds that often blow. Only issue was the pace of play. Over 5 hours to play this day but it had never been near that slow in previous rounds here. Long weekend traffic maybe.
