Going down hill
Ever since Clublink took over this course the condition of the course has gotten worse every year. Teeing areas were rock hard. Many bunkers are full of long grass or have very little sand. They are not maintaining it very well at all. Greens were decent.
Played the North a few days s before , super fun 4 hour round , South was 5 1/2 hours , lost 1\2 dozen balls not a fan of high fescue and high rough .. The South Side is a little tougher and longer ...
Long course with challenging green
It is a nice course in general, good facilities as well. The bunker and green definitely need some care.
Waste of what was a good course
Greens are a mess, no sand in the sand trap, t boxes were a mess. Can't say much about the staff no one at bag drop, or as a Marshall. We walked of at the 14th hole because 5 and one half hours for a round is bad. Yellow grass clippngs around the greens and fairways so that you can waste time looking for a ball. This was once a quality place to play. I am surprised that they have let the course go to pots.

U S open rough
Rough was super deep and thus finding balls just off the fairway was difficult. Greens were slow but normally not the case here as conditions usually very good. Disappointed this time out

Horrible conditions
I’ve played here many times in the past. This course used to be pristine. Fairways greens and everything else used to be so well maintained. When I went yesterday I was stunned, the tee boxes weren’t cut properly, the fairways were manageable but not great and the greens were horrendous, divot marks all over, the grass wasn’t even cut to proper length. I really had to attack my putts to have any chance of dropping anything. The rough wasn’t even cut either, it was like pulling teeth to even see a ball in the rough. I’m so disappointed because this course has a great layout. Step up your game people!!!

With the late start to the season, we applied our aerification later than usual but our greens should be fully healed by this weekend.

lacking
course sand traps in very poor condition, as always. The rough had not been cut in at least two weeks, very long and could loose your ball around the greens

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. It's disappointing to read our course conditions didn't live up to your experience. We have cut our rough several times in the last few weeks. We wouldn't keep it as short as some other clubs to enhance the experience and difficulty of Bond Head.
We have plans to enhance our bunkers with new sand on the way, we'd love if you re-joined us again for another visit for us to improve our rating.

Early in the season so greens were bumpy, need to be rolled. Pet peeve at Club link courses, your paying a large portion to hit range balls , but off a mat. ? There is no reason a guest should not be hitting off of grass. Never saw a Marshall on the course at any point to check on pace of play. Five hour ten minute round, ridiculous

We apologize we needed to be on mats the day of your visit, we are most frequently on grass, as we know this is the preferred options for golfers. Due to rainfall and range tee maintenance, from time to time, there will be a need to hit off mats. Our team is instructed to inform you of that prior to purchasing range balls.
The Long Weekend was very busy, and the with the difficulties of the course, it did take some longer than our posted time par. We'd love to have you back on another day, where our time par is typically met.

Took advantage of a beautiful day.
I saw the weather was going to be unusually nice to not take advantage and play a good golf course. Bond Head has 2 challenging and fun to play courses that are always in good condition. Price was reasonable and the booking went smoothly. My friend and I had a great day playing golf in late October.
