Course needs TLC
I have played this course several times in the past, but first time this year...highly surprised to see the course is in pretty bad shape and needs a whole lot of TLC. Tee boxes scratched up, greens have brown patches of dead turf, fairways are dry, dry, dry - so bad that my mis hit drive (topped it) and instead of puttering out a few yards away, it rolled on to the fairway, continued to bounce and roll and landed 220 yards out...bunkers too are hard as concrete...
I would love to play this course again, but I believe it is a waste of money until conditions improve.
Good value (greens need work)
Good course for the price of green fee (especially with hot deal from GN). Tee boxes and fairways are in decent condition but greens need better maintenance and need work done to them.
An average course for average players
Today is pretty hot and the slow play kept you burning under the sun. The course is not difficult with few hazards and both fairways and greens are fairly well maintained. One par 5 in the back nine was modified to become a par 3 probably due to new houses being built too close to the fairways. The course was therefore shortened by 200-300 yards with blue tee at roughly 5,800 yards and the longest gold tee around 6,200 yards. Staff and marshall are very friendly and polite and we appreciate that. Price is reasonable but there are better courses at a slightly higher price. So depend on one's preference on which type of course to play.
Great for the price
Had a great time playing through the hot deal. Greens are well maintained. Course is good for a beginner to amateur level golfer
Excellent value
We were able to get a hot deal for 44$ including cart. Excellent course challenging but not too hard to enjoy. We will all be back
Beautiful course
It was our first time there. Team up with two gentlemen, who were friendly and encouraging. Surprisingly it was not that busy so we were able to relax and really enjoy the game.
The course is challenging but not overly difficult. Good for a relax weekend game, which is perfect for us.
Great Course for the GolfNow Rate
Tee'd off pretty early, there were only about 3 other groups on the course... Would not recommend going later, the parking lot was completely full when we left.
Would play again for the GolfNow rate ($42 or $48 with Tax), wouldn't play for the course fee of $70.
Relaxing
First good dry day. Nicely groomed. Traps could use more sand.
Relaxing
Good value for money. Was wet in areas but Mother Nature rules. In good shape for amount of rain we’ve had.
Poor Pace of Play
Course layout was overall average with a few challenging holes and layouts. Pace of play at Noon on a Friday was absolutely horrible. Not only was pace of play absolutely horrible but groups behind us were rolling balls past our cart on holes due to lack of knowledge and Course Marshals telling them pace of play was slow. Poor experience overall from pace of play standpoint, average course at best.
Start of year
Considering the weather the course is in good shape. Greens were good. Traps need sand. The rough around the greens is fair and makes you want to hit onto the green.
Great Value
Course is well kept. Pace a little slow. Different challenges for different holes. Challenging pin placements as well. Good value for the green fee.
Spring Golf
Wet conditions, well kept greens. Great staff. Not a lot of elevation change. Great value. Perfect course for the newer player that doesn’t want to get eaten up by the higher slope rating courses nearby. Very clearly a former farm field with 20 year old trees. They lined the fairways well though with moguls, berms, and fescue. A lot better suited for dry summer conditions as the 19th hole indoors is about 5 tables. Outdoors is a larger pavilion.
