Very dried out
Staff extremely friendly. Pro shop, starter and beverage cart.
Course was really dried out. Hitting from fairways were difficult. No give to the ground.
Greens were slow for being dry. Pin positioning was crazy. Most were on a slope.
Price included cart. Cart needed to be cleaned up. It was filthy, probably not washed all year. Also needed a tune up. Struggled to drive up minor inclines.
I hadn’t played Lakeridge in several years and it might be several more before coming back. The course needs work.
Maintenance needed
The owners must be making a lot of money from the development land they recently sold to build luxury homes but none of that money is being put back into Lakeridge. The cart paths are terrible, full of huge potholes and buckled pavement. You need a hammer to put the tee into the hard ground on the tee boxes. Some greens and fairways are poorly maintained.
Had a great time playing this course played with a club member which help me navigate the course more better awesome gentlemen he was overall had a great time playing this course
The course condition does not liveup to its potential!
Solid golf round
Not to busy so we played a good round of golf. course was in good condition
Lakeridge Golf course
The course is in good condition, both fairways and greens are well maintained. The tee platforms however needed to do some repair job as too many divots and uneven patches. Also many car paths are in bad shape and very bumpy. Check in was super quick n staff very friendly and polite. Course was not busy so pace is good. One interesting thing is the bottom of most trees always left uncut with a circle of tall fescue surrounding them. This makes finding the balls difficult if one hit the ball inside one of them. May be the maintenance staffs are too busy.
Third strike you re out
Third time playing here over the last few years. First of all...no parking..terrible. The attitude of the course is that its an official PGA stop. Far from it. The pace of play is so slow. No marshells. The greens were not not good. Not groomed . Just terrible. Even the girl at the snack bar was rude. Never ever again.
They've given up
Lakeridge used to be a great place to golf. Now they just don't care. More weeds than grass, no whippersnipping under trees in the rough, craps sand, no benches (tough on walkers when you have 5 hour rounds), no marshalls, poor tee boxes... BTW your car will be dirty when you leave from heavy equipment coming in to develop property for houses. When you're done -- no draft beer -- too hard for the staff to figure out since the manager is on maternity leave all summer. I kid you not!
Very tree lined fairways but forgiving if you stay on the large fairways
Fairways and greens were good. I found it difficult to find my ball in the second cut because of high grass and clumps of cut grass on the fairway fringes.
My biggest complaint is the “terrible” quality of cart path, very bumpy and dangerous. Why even have them, just grass over the whole cart path for the safety and comfort of the customer. fix the cart paths immediately.

Enjoyed the day playing with two course members and another gent in our group. Course was a little wet as this is the start of the golf season. Had not played this course ( Lakefield Links ) in many years. Will play again
