Whispering Ridge Golf Course
About
Whispering Ridge Golf Course is an executive course that was designed to complement its sister course, the nearby Lakeridge Links. Although it does not have the same length the championship Lakeridge Links has, it still offers about the same level of difficulty. The layout offers a different set of challenges, providing a compelling alternative to the other course. Its design is versatile enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. A few water hazards come into play throughout as well as several deep, strategically placed bunkers. The gently rolling terrain provides some undulations in the fairways and greens. The par-3 third hole is one of the most challenging on the golf course with a gulch along the right as well as sand and rough to the left, all waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. Accuracy is a necessity on this tricky hole.

"Whispering Ridge: A Golfing Haven for Novice and Advanced Players Alike"
to other golf courses in the area.
As an avid golfer, I recently had the pleasure of playing a round at Whispering Ridge, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed for a great day on the course.
One of the first things that struck me about Whispering Ridge was its beautiful design. The course, which opened in 1996, has been thoughtfully laid out to provide a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Whether you're a novice or an advanced player, you'll find something to love about this course.
The bent grass tees and sculptured fairways are impeccably maintained, providing a pristine playing surface that is a joy to hit from. The attention to detail in the course's upkeep is evident, and it truly enhances the overall experience. The fairways are wide enough to accommodate errant shots, but still require strategic thinking to navigate successfully.
One of the standout features of Whispering Ridge is its picturesque
Executive with some length
An executive with plenty of holes long enough to pull out the senior driver. Well maintained fairways and greens. Bunkers need some attending to. Friendly staff and good amenities. Driving range is an expanse of undulating fairway that draws you out for a second shot - shame there were no flag or distance markers. Course layout begs for some direction signs between holes. The “little” things add up and prevented a five star rating. Overall excellent value for the $35 weekend rate.
Little slow.
Pace was a little slow but course in good condition except for a few sand traps which were over grown with weeds. Looking forward to next time.
Great value, but course up-keep could be improved
The price is right, but should be better maintained. Like putting sand in the bunkers, and adding 150 yard posts in the longer fairways.
Great value for these conditions
They keep this course lovely and the prices are good. its one of my GO TO courses regularly

Good value for money
Great course. Reasonable cost especially great savings for the free cart that goes with it. Fits my needs as a senior who always use the cart.
Shortfalls
Although the fairways and greens were in excellent condition the sand bunkers were severely lacking in condition. The layout of tee off areas were confusing. . Locations were all over. If I hadn’t been included in a group that had golfed the course before I would have been lost looking for the next tee area. Needed a layout map on the back of score card.
A bit challenging
Not a great course but not so bad either. Challenging and worth the cost.
Layout
Although the fairways and greens were in excellent condition the layout of the course was confusing. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had been added with previous golfers of the course I would have been lost. A layout map is needed on the back of the score card. The green side bunkers are in need of upgrades.
Course upgrades
Great staff and golf course but could focus on fixing the greens as there are apparent ant hills and lots of holes that could be maintained but other then those issues, this has the ability to be a great golf course with friends.
The course was extremely wet and the grass to the sides of the fairways was extremely long. Probably not cut at all this year. Overall the course was terrible.
First time at Whispering Ridge
Had a most enjoyable day playing this wee course for the first time. Found the course well maintained throughout and excellent conditioned greens.
Joined up with a pair of scots, Ian and Jim, who play the course regularly and they helped make it an awesome first day at Whispering Ridge.
Like Gnl McArthur says "I'll be back"....again and again
